It is practiced in order to abandon conceptual thoughts and accomplish the state of complete purity. As the Blessed One said in the "Seven Mothers Sutra," "Manjushri, for those who do not abide, what is the use of practicing the Prajnaparamita?" "Blessed One, whoever does not abide in anything, that is the practice of Prajnaparamita. Whoever does not cling to the abiding or non-abiding of any dharma, that is abiding; whoever does not mentally engage with any dharma, that is abiding." The Blessed One asked, "Manjushri, do you not mentally engage with the dharmas of the Buddhas?" He replied, "Blessed One, I do not mentally engage." Whatever is the nature of the inconceivable, that alone is Nirvana, unborn, Prajnaparamita, the realm of dharma, the realm without going, knowing these two as non-dual and without separation. Whatever such wisdom is, that is the wisdom of the Buddhas attained through non-attachment. Blessed One, practicing Prajnaparamita in this way, one does not abide in non-attachment to any dharma, nor is there any taking or abandoning of any dharma. Nor is there attachment to the decrease or increase of any dharma. Blessed One, for the unborn, there is no increase or decrease. So it is said. Its characteristics, etc., are spoken by the noble Nagarjuna: The characteristic of the Bodhicitta is not obscured by the conceptual thoughts of self and aggregates, etc., of consciousness. In emptiness, the Buddhas always dwell. For the purpose of reversing the clinging to self, the aggregates, elements, etc., are taught, but even that, with the establishment of mind-only, is refuted by those with great merit. All these are mind-only, established for those who speak of consciousness. What is the nature of consciousness? Now I will speak of it here. All these are mind-only, as taught by the Thubpa (Buddha), for the purpose of abandoning the fear of children, but that is not the nature of suchness. The nature of emptiness is one way. In this very mind, there is the completely imputed, the other-dependent, and the perfectly established, which are also imputed as that nature. Those who delight in the Great Vehicle are equal to the selflessness of dharma. Emptiness, the wisdom equal to space, has matured into the essence of Bodhicitta, relying on the actions of the three times, the nature of the Buddhas is known by all. Without object, like an illusion.
