Therefore, they know the peace of nirvana as the ultimate end through compassion, but do not manifest it like the Shravakas and others. Furthermore, with wisdom, they have severed the root of all afflictions, completely dispelling the state of universal ignorance. Therefore, they are not tainted by the faults belonging to existence and non-existence, nor do they fall into samsara. Both of these are established as non-abiding. Hence, the union of skillful means and wisdom is said to be the path of the Bodhisattvas. Just as the world is seen with wisdom that includes appearances and so forth, so too, as it appears in the aspects of conventional and ultimate reality, the Bhagavan also knows all arising phenomena clearly, like an amalaka fruit in the palm of one's hand, solely through direct perception, because he possesses the inconceivable power of the yogi's samadhi. Therefore, the Bhagavan is established as the all-knowing wisdom. Furthermore, the supreme supramundane wisdom that arises from the culmination of meditating on the true meaning, which is devoid of all elaboration and where all phenomena are without appearance, is how great yogis realize suchness. The completion of accumulations is only reasonable with this view, because things like giving do not exist at all in ultimate reality. To fixate on them is completely inverted, like fixating on a mirage as water. Therefore, all the practices of the perfections that are motivated by this are also very weak, because they are motivated only by illusion, like giving and so forth that are motivated by the inversion of self and what belongs to self. Not fixating on giving and so forth, which have become the characteristics of objects, is also non-inverted because it is the object of true meaning, like not fixating on a mirage as water. Therefore, giving and so forth that are motivated by certainty will also become great fruits. Giving and so forth are also not completely non-existent, because if giving and so forth did not exist, merit would not arise, but in conventional reality, everything exists. Everything
