Ah! Regarding the realizations of meditation, samadhi, the path, and the fruit, etc., without having attained an extremely superior realization, yet thinking, "I have attained it," this mind that is directed towards manifestation is manifest pride. Praising and elevating evil deeds such as killing, stealing, and other sinful acts is wrong pride. Not having the ability to accomplish all things oneself, yet completely thinking that one can, or completely thinking that one is inferior to others, this is slight pride. Ignorance is the state of not seeing the true meaning due to being associated with any dharma, and of falsely attributing a nature that does not exist in things to a person or dharma. It is the opposite of wisdom, merely not understanding the Three Jewels and the Truth. Wisdom is the stainless wisdom that is the object of the nature of dharma. Doubt is the wisdom of a deluded mind that is in a state of uncertainty regarding the Truth, the Three Jewels, etc., being in both the state of existence and non-existence. Views are of three types. Among them, "ཥདླྀ་འཇིག་པ་ལའོ་ཞེས་པ་འཇིག་གོ" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) means destruction. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) means should be destroyed. "ཅི་ཉི་སོགས་པ་ལའོ་ཞེས་པ་བསགས་པ་ནི་ཚོགས་སོ" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) means accumulation is collection. It is both destruction and collection, that is, the collection of the nature of destruction is the destructible collection. Among them, with defiled wisdom, clinging to "I" and clinging to "mine," this is the view of the destructible collection. That is, regarding the aggregates of appropriation, which are without inherent existence, mistakenly grasping them as permanent nature, and further falsely attributing them to a person, thus giving rise to twenty different situations. For example, form and having form, and "I" in form and form in "I," holding the aggregate of form as supreme, these are the four parts of the view of the destructible collection. Similarly, for the aggregates of feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness, there are also four parts each. Regarding these five aggregates of appropriation, alas! Are "I" and this world permanent? Are they annihilated? Similarly, do they exist? Do they not exist? Thinking of such extremes, the defiled wisdom clinging to extremes and the view of manifest clinging is the view of clinging to extremes. Regarding cause and effect, the Truth, and the Three Jewels

Wrong view is the defiled wisdom that enters with a non-affirming attitude towards denying causality and dependent origination, etc. Holding to be supreme is of two kinds. Among them, holding inferior, contaminated things as supreme, thinking, "This is true, others are foolish," such manifest clinging is holding views, etc., as supreme, that is, holding views as supreme, the "etc." here is omitted. Seeing non-cause as cause and non-path as path is holding moral discipline and asceticism as supreme, here too the word "etc." is omitted. This is because all contaminated, impure things and things that are not the nature of the path of liberation are held to be pure and the path of liberation itself. Jealousy is suffering from the virtues of others. Miserliness is holding a mind contrary to being skilled in giving, such as Dharma. The bonds are three: desire, hatred, and ignorance. Because those who are bound by these cannot transcend the three realms. The predispositions are six: desire, anger, pride, ignorance, doubt, and views. Here, desire is of two kinds: desire for the desire realm and desire for the form and formless realms. Views, that is, the view of the aggregates of destruction, etc., are divided into five kinds, so there are ten predispositions in total, and due to the difference in their own nature and the twelve different realms, they can also become one hundred and ninety-eight, how to explain it is just like that. For things that are in accordance with abiding and arising, as they are in accordance with the aim of existence, they will increase, so they are predispositions. Or, because entering is difficult to discern, or because they are subtle, the continuum of oneself is connected, so they are predispositions. The order of arising of these is also, because one does not truly understand how things abide, and one falsely imputes a non-existent nature, so first there is ignorance. Then, after hearing the two views of right and wrong, one doubts, "Is this true or not?" Then, due to being accustomed to wrong views, one is also accustomed to wrong cognition of things, and looking at things in a reversed way is wrong view. Here, wrong view is reversed.
