The gods of the Four Great Kings heaven, and also the seven mountains such as Yoke Holder. On the fourth level are the Four Great Kings, namely Vaishravana, Dhritarashtra, Virudhaka, and Virupaksha, residing in the northern and other directions. All those who hold vessels and so on are gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings. On top of Mount Meru are the Thirty-three Gods who have perfected good conduct, so they are called the Thirty-three. Each side of the top of Mount Meru is eighty thousand yojanas, the same as below. Others say that each side is twenty thousand yojanas. There are four terraces, each stacked five hundred yojanas high, where the yakshas called Vajrapani (vajra, वज्र, vajra, diamond scepter) reside separately. In the center of the top of Mount Meru is the city called Sudarshana, each side being three thousand five hundred yojanas long and two and a half yojanas high. The ground is golden in nature, adorned with various jewels, and as soft to the touch as silk-cotton, it is the palace of King Indra. In the center of that is a house called the Excellent Victory, with each copper side being three hundred and fifty yojanas long, and its height is equally beautiful. On the four sides of the city are various chariots, rough gardens, mixed groves, and pleasure gardens, which are amusement parks. On the northeast side of the two outer sides of the city is the All-Gathering Tree. Its roots are buried five yojanas deep, and it is one hundred yojanas high. Its branches, leaves, and flowers cover an area of fifty yojanas. The fragrance of all these flowers travels one hundred yojanas in the direction of the wind and fifty yojanas against the wind. Does the continuation of the fragrance of the flowers depend solely on its own origin, or does it arise by relying on the wind? There is no certainty about this, and both views are in accordance with the wishes of the teachers. In the southwest is the Good Dharma Hall, the assembly place of the gods, where the gods sit and discuss what should and should not be done. That is it. Such is the abode of the Thirty-three Gods. Above the third level, the gods reside in immeasurable palaces. They are the gods of the Heaven Without Strife and the Heaven of Joy.

And the Paranirmitavasavartin and Nirmanarati, these are the abodes of the desire realm beings and the fourth Dhyana. Among them are the eight hot hells, the four continents, and the four great kings, etc., the six desire realms, and the classifications of animals and hungry ghosts, totaling twenty desire realm abodes. Among them are the three desire-born beings, namely, how desire arises and is enjoyed, including humans and the four heavenly kings, as well as the Nirmanarati who transform themselves and enjoy desires, and the Paranirmitavasavartin who exercise power over the desires transformed by others. Here, the four great kings and the Trayastrimsa who are connected to the earth, like humans, engage in intercourse in pairs, while the Atapa and others embrace, hold hands, laugh, and look according to their numbers. However, the gods have no semen, so they are completely free from suffering by the wind. The Vaibhashikas say that all are in union in pairs, and by the limitation of time, embracing and other actions can be posited. The greater the object of desire, the greater the attachment. Whichever god or goddess does not have a young boy or girl on their lap, that is their offspring, like five, six, seven, eight, nine, and ten years old among the gods. In the form realm, the gods are born with complete bodies, without male or female organs, and clothed. All these gods speak the language of the noble ones. Among them, the first Dhyana is the Brahma Parishadya, Brahma Purohita, and Maha Brahma. The second Dhyana is the Parittabha, Apramanabha, and Abhasvara. The third Dhyana is the Parittasubha, Apramanasubha, and Subhakrtsna, these also experience happiness. The fourth Dhyana is the ultimate, experiencing equanimity, including Anabhraka, Punyaprasava, Brhatphala, Asamjnasattva, Atapa, Sudrsa, Sudarsana, and Akanistha. The four Dhyanas are each divided into three according to the categories of small, medium, and large. The fourth is divided into small of the small, small, medium, large, very large, and extremely large.
