If all phenomena with beings are food because they nourish beings. Even so, it is mainly food that is eaten for the sake of the body's growth, and touch and mental activity for the sake of the growth of mind and mental events, which project rebirth, and what has already been projected is manifested from the seed of consciousness affected by karma. Where is there food for beings? Everywhere, in everything. Likewise, in all places of birth. How is there edible food in hell? Burning iron hammers and boiling copper. Food that causes decay is among the hell beings, and it can also quench hunger and thirst. In the neighboring hells, there is nothing like edible food. Thus, the dependent arising, abiding, and dying of sentient beings have been explained. Among them, the six dharmas of the cessation of the root of virtue, connection, detachment from desire from the realm and the earth, complete decay, death, and birth should only be considered as the consciousness of mind, and not others. Here, the intermediate state of existence is also birth. Death and birth are neutral feelings. However, in the mind in equipoise and without mind, these are not present. When one begins to transform this basis, it is necessarily related to this basis. Because the objects of cause and effect are only the followers of following and reversing, and the difference immediately following is meaningless, just like cessation and unconscious absorption, even after the previous mind has ceased for a long time, the mind that has arisen manifests, but it is not the other of later death. From birth, there is no cause for the mind to cease, and without afflictions, it will not be born. It is reasonable that the mind of unconscious beings does not exist. Furthermore, those sentient beings who do not appear, the non-Buddhists with five superknowledges, and the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas cannot see with their eyes, but the Tathagata can make them appear in a direction the size of a chariot wheel.
