The two and the wisdom of the extremely pure realm of Dharma are without difference in their own nature, because by their very nature they focus on the extremely pure realm of Dharma. As it is said in the Sutra of the Buddha Land: When the realm of Dharma is pure, the activity of mixing and near-mixing is the perfect enjoyment of wisdom with a single taste. From that very teaching, it should be understood that in the earlier generation of Bodhicitta, it was not of one taste. Mixing is becoming one. Becoming one is sometimes differentiated, but that is never to be differentiated, because near-mixing is extremely inseparable, therefore it is to be regarded as equal, and because the one who regards and the object of regard are closely connected. Activity is of one taste, taste is essence, is nature. The perfect enjoyment of wisdom is the object, because the realm of Dharma is to be truly enjoyed. By what intention is the perfect enjoyment of wisdom, it is said that because wisdom arises from focusing on the realm of Dharma, it is of one taste, thus arranging the words. Or, true enjoyment is the experiencer of perfect enjoyment, because wisdom is to be truly enjoyed, so this is the perfect enjoyment of wisdom, and because it is bliss, it is the same basis, so it is of one taste, because there is no distinction of suffering and equanimity in it. The fruit is also, that is, of the realm of Dharma. Or, only wisdom is perfect enjoyment, because in the conventional, it is truly enjoyed in the aspect of self-awareness. That is also of one taste, because there is no conceptualization of self and other, etc. The fruit is also, because it is free from the attachment of cause and effect, therefore it always abides. The meaning of this sutra is also, here everything is only awareness. These five wisdoms also encompass the Bodhisattva's grounds, but for those who abide on the path of arising with manifest activity, the one taste of the fruit, the perfect enjoyment of wisdom, will not arise. From the eighth ground onwards...

Free from the perception of two Bodhisattvas. The two are self and what belongs to self, existence and non-existence, permanence and impermanence, arising and non-arising, birth and non-birth, self and other, and so on. The antidote to this is to attain equanimity of mind at all times and places. From then on, being free from the perception of duality, free from all effort, stainless, utterly pure, spontaneously accomplished, appearing as the image of non-discriminating wisdom, therefore the fruit is of one taste, fully enjoying wisdom. However, because there is still a residue of obscurations, it is not completely pure. Because it is the general characteristic of spontaneously accomplished wisdom that is manifestly conceived, there is no contradiction. In the Immovable, because one has obtained the great forbearance of non-birth of all dharmas from the beginning. If it is said that in the Utterly Joyful, one also obtains equality of self and other, even so, because it still involves effort, it is not completely pure, therefore it is not established. All Bodhisattva grounds, like great rivers in the ocean, enter the Buddha ground, becoming supports without difference, because the thusness of all Tathagatas is completely pure, it is a support without difference. Thus, the fruit is of one taste, fully enjoying with wisdom. Therefore, in the stainless realm, the Buddhas are not established as multiple. The only one, the nature of the thusness of all dharmas, the true and non-inverted nature, which is emptiness itself, when one obtains the path of extremely pure, transcendent wisdom, and the seeds of the two obscurations are completely severed, then the completely pure Dharmadhatu thusness is called "transformation of abode." It is also the stainless realm. That is the wisdom Dharmadhatu, the extremely pure wisdom, because it is self-realized individually, therefore, because it is focused on, it abides in endless time. The Dharmadhatu and all dharmas are also objects of mirror-like wisdom, focusing on the characteristics of self and generality.

Therefore. What is the nature of mere discrimination, the basis of all evil destinies, the alaya-consciousness. By the power of the antidote, being separated from all the defilements of evil destinies, that which is transformed is called mirror-like wisdom. As the scholar Chandra Gomi said: 'Whatever is the alaya-consciousness, becomes the mirror-like wisdom, that also of the realm of dharma, some consider it to be the self-nature.' Thus it is. What is this alaya-consciousness? It is only the consciousness. How is it that when it is only clinging between the self and what belongs to the self, it is established separately in the afflicted mind, just as it is the basis of all evil destinies and so on, and the basis of cessation and connection, detachment and decline, death and transmigration, birth and so on, then evil destinies and so on are based here, so it is also the alaya-consciousness. That also, together with other consciousnesses other than that, other dharmas, good and non-good, are subdued by these. Just as it is reasonable that when the seed grows and the cause is made, the difference of the completely transformed continuum arises from that, and when the approach of placing the power as it is taken from the cause is obtained, then later the result of that, desired or undesired, manifests and is accomplished. For example, just as the seeds of cotton wool that are subdued by the juice of madder also produce red flowers and fruits. As it is said: 'Why is it that whatever continuum, only in, the habits of karma are subdued, that only is related to that fruit, like the redness of cotton wool.' Thus it is. That only, in the Sutra of Unraveling the Thought, is said in terms of the difference of those to be tamed: 'The consciousness of taking is deep and subtle, all seeds flow like a stream of water, it is not right to think of self, this I have not shown to children.' Thus it is. That is said to be the consciousness of taking because it takes the body in those who connect with existence. Because it is the basis of all the seeds of all dharmas, it is the alaya-consciousness. Because it is the maturation of the previous life, it is the maturation.
