Clairvoyance and divine ear, knowing the conduct of the minds of all sentient beings, remembering past lives, divine eye, and knowing the exhaustion of defilements, these are known as the six superknowledges. With the knowledge of the divine eye, one knows about death and birth. This is born from the practice of manifest realization. The former, the divine eye, is the result of maturation. How are the Buddha's eye and the sixth superknowledge said to be possessed by Bodhisattvas? On the eighth ground, Bodhisattvas individually attain both of these. On the Buddha ground, in order to completely perfect, completely perfect, and completely purify, thus, endowed with the armor of the accumulation of generosity and so forth, this is the practice of entering into the generation of Bodhicitta. That, being endowed with union, is like fire. By that, the distinction is realized because it goes to the extreme, like fire according to the distinction of firewood. For that very reason, the superior intention is also like this, this is only by the desire for the Dharma to become superior. It is said in the Ratnakuta Sutra: In essence, it will become equal to non-existence. Furthermore, how could a Bodhisattva be like that which destroys the Buddha-field that has been accomplished? However, in order to manifest and abide in the liberation of those whose roots of virtue are fully ripened, this gathers the correct instructions. In the Holy Cloud of Jewels Sutra, it is also said: Bodhisattvas who abide only on this ground of faith practice, even though they are ordinary beings, have completely transcended all the decline of childishness, and are said to be endowed with countless qualities of samadhi, dharani, liberation, and superknowledge. That is, with meditation and the formless and so on, and the six perfections, and the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment and so on, and the immeasurable ones, and all the twenty aspects of emptiness, without any object of focus, and between the perfection of generosity, from the object of generosity, the giver, and the receiver, and so on, until the perfections, and the Bodhisattva and the attention

Moreover, one should become accustomed to the nature of non-objectification, the three spheres being completely pure. In order to be without attachment, the meditator, the object of meditation, and the meditation itself should cultivate all virtuous dharmas. With the five kinds of clairvoyance, one goes to various Buddha-fields. There, one also makes offerings to the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. From them, one hears the Great Vehicle. One fully ripens sentient beings. One fully purifies one's own Buddha-field. One aspires to turn the wheel of Dharma after attaining omniscience. One sees the countless Buddhas of the ten directions. They also fully proclaim this. Thus, these nine are very well entered into individually. Similarly, the treatises are: meditation, the formless, giving, etc., the path and love, etc., attaining the union without an object, the three spheres being completely pure, for the sake of... and the six superknowledges, for the manner of omniscience, the practice of entering the Great Vehicle, one should know that one must ascend. Thus it is. Here, for the sake of the great mind, etc., of the supreme nature of all sentient beings, having spoken of the entry of the three kinds of for the sake of..., Simhabhadra indicates that he has not seen the twenty-five thousand verse treatise quoted by the Noble One. Like this, this entering, being separated from eighty thousand kinds of worms in the body, having obtained patience, one will not go to the lower realms due to the power of karma, because greed, etc., the cause of the lower realms, will not arise. What is said about the middle patience, he will never be born from a womb, but will always be born miraculously without interruption, etc. Compassion is solely for the sake of going to the lower realms for the benefit of others. Similarly, this one will not be born in the eight unfavorable conditions. One will not completely grasp the nature of a woman, etc. One will not be born in places of wrong views, hell, animals, the world of Yama, places where one cannot hear the Buddha's words, border regions, places where the senses are dull and mute, and long-lived gods.
