How can things to be cut off not become finite? It is not so. Just as sentient beings and the container world are infinite in all directions, so too, the wisdom of omniscience is infinite, and therefore it grasps everything simultaneously, just like blue and yellow, and so on. If the wisdom of omniscience were completely cut off, there would be the fault of being finite. Because what is to be known itself has boundaries, things are not admitted to be infinite in nature because of the complete cutting off of wisdom. However, it is only because the arrangement of objects is infinite that the container world is infinite, and the sentient world is also because the number is infinite. Therefore, this is the meaning summarized here: for example, the knowledge of seeing truth in a dream, although there is no object in the ultimate sense, arises from the power of the difference of the basis, without relying on signs and scriptures, from the appearance of the object that is determined separately, and thus becomes unfailing by obtaining the meaning of the near attainment through the near attainment. Similarly, the pure wisdom of a yogi, through the power of habituation to the yoga of the Perfection of Wisdom, how it arises, is arising, or will arise, for things that have happened in the past, are happening now, and will happen in the future, which are completely observed by others, and appear as such, showing contradictions and non-contradictions, what should be abandoned and what should be taken, etc., with various kinds of elaborations of distinctions, the nature of which is completely clear like external objects, appearing clearly and separately, without relying on signs and scriptures, and arising as unfailing, is considered to be direct perception. Some people also hold the view that the wisdom of discrimination and the wisdom of accomplishing actions are subsequent attainments that arise from the power of transcendental wisdom, and are the nature of pure worldly discrimination. Others think that only the wisdom of accomplishing actions is like that. Although these views and ways are not reasonable in all aspects, they have been studied separately by the great chariot masters, so what is the use of mentioning them here in passing, which is too cumbersome? Thus, the five wisdoms are briefly summarized and distinguished, and explained extensively.

The qualities such as generating the initial thought of enlightenment are established in some ways. Thus, in brief, the Great Vehicle, the nature of twenty-two types of bodhicitta, is the nature of cause and effect. The Perfection of Wisdom is the single realization of all-knowingness. The distinctions made by dividing are the three realizations, namely, the all-knowingness, the knowledge of the path, and the all-knowingness, which are the objects to be realized. In terms of the nature of entering, it is the realization of the cause, because it shows the nature of what is to be abandoned and what is to be adopted. The all-aspect realization, the peak realization, the gradual realization, and the enlightenment in a single moment are the realizations of application of "this is well applied." The Dharmakaya with activities is the realization of the result. Again, these three, when expanded, are the six realizations, such as the all-aspect realization of enlightenment, and so on, the realizations of various applications, and the distinctions of the superior realization, the sequential realization, and the ultimate realization. In the extremely expanded, the realization of the cause is the same as the previous three, so there are eight realizations. Among them, the three, such as all-knowingness, are the objects of application, and the other four are application and cause, as the noble ones have established, which is exactly in accordance with this meaning. Establishing the realizations for those with bodhicitta, all of this is the intention of the great beings, which is declared here. In the ornament of the Sugata's intention, the chapter on the light of the eight realizations, the third chapter, is complete. Thus, aspiration, thought, higher intention, application, generosity, discipline, patience, diligence, meditation, wisdom, skillful means, aspiration, power, the perfection of wisdom, and clairvoyance, merit, wisdom, the factors of enlightenment, and great compassion.
