It is very well explained. Moreover, because of dwelling on the path of meditation, the characteristic of the non-regressing Bodhisattva Sangha is constant. Small, medium, and large ones, again with distinctions such as small, etc., proceed through nine aspects by means of aspects. Thus, the explanation of the constant aspect is spoken through aspects. The smallness of small conceptualizations is encompassed by perceptions that are countable, measurable, and limited. How, by the power of the path of meditation in between, does it become the greatest of the great aspects of the path as an antidote on the ninth ground? The ninth ground is the cloud of Dharma. Because it is the ninth ground by the power of meditation, and because it is the tenth ground with great joy, all of this is well established. Also, in the Abhidharma-samuccaya, it is said: When desiring the path of meditation, abandoning the nine aspects of afflictions of conduct leads to becoming the tenth aspect. Thus, entering the second and third fruits is spoken of by the power of faith and aspiration. Shariputra! Those Bodhisattvas who are unskilled in means perfect the four meditations and practice the six perfections, but even with the attainment of meditation, they are born in the long-lived gods. From there, after death and transference, if they are born among the gods of the desire realm or among humans, their faculties become dull rather than sharp. So it is. Because of that sutra, from the immovable stage realized by the noble ones onwards, all Bodhisattvas are indeed non-regressing, but some are unskilled in means, and some with dull faculties change even up to good intelligence. However, not all are so, because the two who attain through seeing, the once-returner and the fully accomplished once-returner, are also declared to be skilled in means and to have sharp faculties. Why is entering the second and third fruits spoken of by the power of attainment through seeing? Shariputra! Bodhisattvas, from wherever, to the extent that they are skilled in means, wherever the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, rejoice and act, are born there and born there.

Those who are inseparable from the Prajñāpāramitā, only in this Bhadrakalpa can they attain the unsurpassed, perfectly complete, and fully enlightened Buddhahood, so it is said. Here, the lords of the ten grounds, the Bhadrakalpa ones, in order to dispel wrong views, and the thousands who are inferior to Kanakamuni, Kāśyapa, and Śākyamuni, are limited to this Saha world. Elsewhere, they are accomplished by the power of skillful means and are irrefutable. If we consider the once-returner, Shariputra, those Bodhisattvas who practice the Prajñāpāramitā, through skillful means, enter into meditative absorption and formless absorptions, and as long as they dwell in the Tushita heaven, having passed away from there, they are truly shown to be born here, and in various Buddha-fields, they attain the unsurpassed, perfectly complete, and fully enlightened Buddhahood. Those ones, having come once to this world, then pass into Nirvana elsewhere. If we consider the perfectly complete once-returner, Shariputra, those Bodhisattvas who have attained the four dhyanas up to the noble truths, but do not directly realize them, know that they are bound by one lifetime. From the tenth ground onwards, all Bodhisattvas will become skillful in means and have sharp faculties. Regarding the non-returner, it was said: Shariputra, those Bodhisattvas who have attained the six superknowledges, who are not born in the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, nevertheless, thinking of going from Buddha-field to Buddha-field, they are born wherever the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, appear. The non-returner always accomplishes the second birth in the same place of birth, because they go to a superior state. The first of its five aspects is passing into Nirvana in the intermediate state, that is, beginning from the Brahmakayika gods.

The term "as long as Akanistha" refers to the intermediate state (bardo). It indicates that any class of deities will manifest complete enlightenment there and demonstrate enlightenment here, and so on. The second refers to those who generate the initial bodhicitta immediately upon sitting in the lotus posture under the Bodhi tree, being born here. Simply by being born there, they will pass into complete nirvana with the remaining aggregates. That is, being born and then passing into nirvana. As it is said, "Shariputra, there are bodhisattvas who, merely by generating the initial bodhicitta, will manifest unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Furthermore, the sacred Dharma of those who pass into complete nirvana will remain for a kalpa or the remainder of a kalpa." This is "as long as." This is attained through the path of diligent effort. Here, a kalpa refers to an intermediate kalpa, and one part of that is the remainder of a kalpa. As it is said in the Compendium of Abhidharma, "Those who pass into complete nirvana after being born are those who, merely by being born in the Form Realm, will attain the end of suffering." This is only in reference to the Shravakas. The third is passing into complete nirvana with active engagement, as it is said, "Shariputra, there are bodhisattvas who practice the six perfections, who go from one world to another, and who are always diligent in the activities of sentient beings, until after countless immeasurable kalpas, they manifest unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment." This is referred to as having a path attained through diligent effort. They always abide in the activity of benefiting sentient beings, like the noble Avalokiteshvara, Tara, and Manjushri, and so on. Here, the great effort for the benefit of sentient beings is active engagement. The fourth is passing into complete nirvana without active engagement, as it is said, "Shariputra, there are bodhisattvas who, merely by generating the initial bodhicitta, enter the bodhisattva path without obstacles, and who, in other Buddha-fields, attain unsurpassed
