In the Sutra Revealing the Extensive Realm in the Extensive Land, it is said, "Manjushri, what are the four noble truths? Son of the gods, here, whoever sees that all conditioned phenomena are without inherent existence and unborn, that one fully knows suffering. Whoever sees that all phenomena are perfectly real and without cessation, that one has also abandoned the origin. Whoever sees that all phenomena are perfectly and completely pacified, that one has realized cessation. Whoever sees that all phenomena are extremely empty because their own nature is unborn, that one has practiced the path." Here, the suchness of the nature of all aspects of the four noble truths is said to be only emptiness. Moreover, the realization of this is only once, not gradually, because it has no parts. The noble Nagarjuna also said: When one sees what arises from the condition of ignorance with correct knowledge, whether it is arising or ceasing, nothing can be found, and nirvana is in the dharma that is seen, that itself is also accomplished. Here, the sound of dharma refers to nirvana. Moreover, it is not different from the nature of dependent arising. As it is said: Whoever sees dependent arising sees the dharma, and because they enter without being different from the nature of the dharma, they also see the Buddha. What is the wisdom that completely cuts it off? That is dharma-wisdom, that is, the wisdom that has dharma as its object is dharma-wisdom. Here, in suffering there is the nature of the forbearance of dharma-wisdom, suffering is dependent arising, so it is unborn by its own nature. Whatever is unborn by its own nature, that is nirvana, both are because they are unborn by their own nature. Thus, it is also said in the Root Wisdom of the Middle Way: There is not the slightest difference between nirvana and samsara. There is not the slightest difference between samsara and nirvana. What is the limit of nirvana? It is also the limit of samsara, there is not the slightest difference in that. Here, the sound of limit refers to extreme change, and what is called extreme change is also.
