If it is said that it will become like that? It is not like that. Falling into the realm of the Hearers and so on is conceptualization; it is not the nature of Nirvana, which is the essence of being free from delighting in the benefit of others. Even if transformation is allowed, at that time one should understand the reasons that can be spoken and explained. Therefore, the noble Maitreya asked: What is the Nirvana of the Bodhisattva who possesses such complete knowledge and so on? The Blessed One replied: The Nirvana of these is profound, because this is neither Nirvana nor non-Nirvana. How is that? If, starting from the benefit of others, one does not abandon Samsara, then it is not the Nirvana of these. If, starting from one's own benefit, one does not abandon Nirvana, then it is the Nirvana of these. If one does not abandon one, then one should abandon the other, so shouldn't one not abandon both? There is no conceptualization in both, because they have no aversion to them, so it is reasonable not to abandon both. At that time, should he also be liberated from Samsara and Nirvana? If it is said that it should not be so, then the Bodhisattva who has attained mastery over the mind, with skillful means, whatever appears in all Samsara, that is not abandoning this Samsara. Whatever is emptiness and also abides in the absence of signs, that is not abandoning this Nirvana. Thinking only of such a meaning, the teacher Chandrakirti said: On the eighth Bhumi, the sun of non-conceptual wisdom rises, abandoning all defilements like darkness. Thus, it is said that detachment arises from the three realms, which means that he will become this Nirvana, because for those who have not detached from desire, there is no doubt of attaining Nirvana. Even if Samsara ceases, from obtaining the ten powers, they use the various self-created bodies of mind to completely accomplish the Dharma of the Buddha in the cycle of existence, which is not contradictory, as explained separately. The noble Vimuktisena also said: Truly passing away from this Bhumi is the Bodhisattva who is truly encouraged by the Buddhas, holding on to the remaining deeds and manifesting them.

There are two kinds of cessation: cessation by seeing, which is purified by Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, because there is no path of meditation for Bodhisattvas in it. Cessation by abiding is the characteristic of the continuous path of meditation of the irreversible ground, which must be determined. Again, the Blessed One said: Because it is continuous, small, medium, and large, etc., with distinctions such as small of small, it is considered to be divided into nine categories. The explanation of this verse is that the small of small is in terms of the path of meditation, up to the ninth, and its antidote is said to be transformed into the form of the great of great path. This aspect of the path is the tenth bhūmi, and if it is not the last in the desire realm, then how is it appropriate for the special path in the way that will be explained? Therefore, in the explanation of this verse, it is said that the nine aspects that continuously arise in the nine realms, such as the desire realm, are the path of meditation, as stated by Siṃhabhadra. It is reasonable if it follows the intention of the Blessed One, but otherwise it is not. That which is the perfection of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, having observed with wisdom and vision, is said to be cessation, which abides from the complete realization of all aspects. For that cessation is the first bhūmi, and it is not for the special path, it has been determined. Similarly, in other places, those with wisdom should understand contradictions and so on. For some great ones, even if it is an ordinary being, it is possible to be confused by selflessness, so what should be done here? It is enough to explain it very extensively, how the omniscient one completely realizes perfect enlightenment in all aspects, this is only the nature of the sixteen aspects of bodhicitta. Thus it abides. Among them, the first three bodhicittas, the state enhanced by the wisdom arising from hearing and thinking, the roots of virtue that benefit the part of liberation, and the ground of the first karma, the path of accumulation and the ground of accumulation, how the order is, small, medium, and large, etc., are the objects of the instructions of the great, medium, and small individuals, namely mindfulness and right exertion and magical powers.
