Where is the cessation? There is no cessation for things that exist. That which does not exist is also not existent. By this reasoning, the meaning of cessation for sentient beings becomes nonexistent. If it is said that place and time are ceased, then, how a thing exists, in that way it is not ceased; how a thing does not exist, in that way also it will not be ceased. Thus it is said. If one only fabricates and then ceases, then what is ceased is the fabricated thing, not the real thing. Even so, saying "there is no snake here" will not eliminate fear, because what is feared is not the fabricated snake, but the external karma. Even if the external snake is not seen, it is still fabricated, therefore, merely ceasing it is the external cessation. The same reasoning applies to ceasing non-momentary things, it is enough to be attached to the untrue. Therefore, how is it that the non-perception of the pervasive is not unestablished? This is established. It is also not contradictory, because it exists in the concordant side. Being pervaded by the opposite of what is to be proven is contradictory, and this is pervaded by it. If something does not exist anywhere, then non-existence is the opposite, if it does not exist in the opposite, then this appears in the concordant side, how could this become contradictory? Then, is this not a contradiction that harms the dharma? How does the dharma to be proven contradict itself and cease, similarly it also harms the subject of the dharma. This reason is also ceasing the subject of the dharma, so how is it not contradictory? This statement does not harm the subject of the dharma, because if one does not examine, one will not abandon the nature of the pleasing subject of the dharma. Like this, it is not denying the appearance itself, but it is denying the fabrication, ceasing the ultimate subject of the dharma, in this case, there is no harm to the dharma to be proven.

It is also said that there is harm to your Dharma. This reasoning is not uncertain either, because there is no other form, so the ultimate truth is pervaded by one and many; and if there is no pervader, then the pervaded is also unreasonable. If someone thinks that the ultimate truth being pervaded by one and many can be observed in some places, then can't it be said that way? If, like saying emptiness, it can be observed in some places, if it can be observed, then it itself is not emptiness. Even if pervasion is not established, it is difficult to overturn what has been established. Overturning is even more difficult, because what is to be refuted here, the so-called ultimate truth, is not premised on being observable anywhere. However, it is like the always fabricated permanence, etc., and that fabrication is also pervaded by one and many, therefore, by preventing the pervader of fabrication, to prevent the object of fabrication, how can we be harmed by the fault of the pervasion not being established? Therefore, the wise should accept this emptiness, which is free from the three faults of non-establishment, etc., as proof. Furthermore, some Mind-Only proponents who hate emptiness think like this: For the time being, there is nothing other than consciousness, and even if it is the only one, when it completely becomes outer and inner, due to the power of ignorance, it appears as the nature of grasper and grasped. There is no nature of two in it, therefore, they think that the consciousness of emptiness is the ultimate truth. As it is said: Complete severance is internal, like external objects, this existence is another limb, on the consciousness without difference, arises the appearance of difference. That's what it says. The consciousness appearing internally is other, and the one appearing externally is also other. These two are also non-dual, because it is merely self-awareness. The conceptual thought arising from its power fabricates the nature of grasper and grasped on them, therefore, the nature of two fabricated by it is false, and non-duality is true. As it is said: One realization appears internally, another appears externally, they are like two lamps, not the illuminated and the illuminator. White and happiness, etc., are of knowledge, the knowable and the
