Mas (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) etc. Similarly, merit arises from taking refuge in the Sangha. Conversely, it is not merit. From definite actions, there are many kinds. For example, not teaching the Dharma, not giving to the inferior, not completing stupas, not circumambulating, not eating food without prostrating to lamas, khenpos, acharyas, parents, etc. These are all merits. From the complete cessation of actions, it is the opposite. Not killing beings, etc., not eating food, etc., from definite actions, it is not merit. From the complete cessation of actions, it is the opposite. From the complete cessation of things, there are also many kinds. For example, holding stupas, etc., for the purpose of offering is also merit. Completely abandoning them is the opposite. Holding weapons and traps, etc., for the purpose of harming others is not merit. Abandoning them is the opposite. Entering with respect also has many kinds. For example, from the power of extreme faith, respectfully engaging in virtuous actions and afflictive virtuous actions. As long as the power of extreme faith follows, merit will follow. As long as the power of afflictions follows, non-merit will follow. Any slightly virtuous action becomes virtuous due to thirteen causes, such as: nature, relationship, subsequent relationship, motivation, obtaining birth, ultimate truth, combination, complete undertaking, presentation, antidote, near peace, and conformity. Among them, the goodness from nature has fourteen aspects, namely: faith, diligence, mindfulness, samadhi, wisdom, shame, embarrassment, non-attachment, non-anger, non-ignorance, caution, extreme gentleness, equanimity, and non-harm. The goodness from relationship is many. For example, the dharmas that are in accordance with faith, etc. The goodness from subsequent relationship is like this: the imprints of faith, etc. The goodness from motivation is

It is like this: the actions of body and speech that are motivated by faith and so on. The virtue obtained from birth is like this: due to familiarizing with faith and so on, the nature of faith and so on is manifestly established. The virtue from the ultimate truth is suchness. There are three kinds of virtue from application, namely: hearing the sacred Dharma by attending to a noble person, properly directing the mind, and practicing the Dharma that is in accordance with the Dharma. The virtue from subsequent adherence is the virtue of subsequently adhering to sentient beings through the four objects of collection. The four objects of collection are: giving, kind speech, beneficial conduct, and acting in accordance with the meaning. The virtue from complete acceptance is like this: from the meritorious object of the nature of giving, completely accepting the birth of great wealth and noble lineage; from the meritorious object of the nature of ethics, completely accepting the birth in happy realms; from the meritorious object of the nature of meditation, completely accepting that which is in accordance with complete purification. There are two kinds of virtue from offering before, namely: with the Tathagata as the object, from the ritual of offering to stupas or scriptures, and with the Dharma as the object, from the ritual of offering to a person blessed by the Dharma. There are five kinds of virtue from antidote, namely: the antidote of refutation, the antidote of elimination, the antidote of distancing, the antidote of afflictive obscurations, and the antidote of cognitive obscurations. The virtue from near pacification is like this: abandoning desire by completely taking that and that. There are four kinds of virtue from the concordant cause, namely: the common qualities such as clairvoyance of the one who has abandoned desire, and the uncommon, the mundane, and the supramundane. Among them, there are four ways to purify non-virtuous deeds that have been done, namely: through the pervasive application of refutation, through the pervasive application of antidote, through the power of restoration, and through the power of reliance. Among them, having committed sins, not

To thoroughly regard it as a fault with a regretful mind, and to denounce having done something bad. Because of entering decline, sins become weak. This is the universal practice of denunciation. The universal practice of antidote is non-virtuous actions, the characteristic of being very manifestly conjoined for the sake of virtuous actions, making sins very weak. The power of restoration is the characteristic of obtaining the vow not to do it again in the future, by properly taking the Pratimoksha vow, sins do not do anything at all. The power of reliance is the characteristic of taking refuge in the Three Jewels, and the characteristic of not abandoning the mind of Bodhicitta, making sins unable to produce unpleasant results. Any slightly non-virtuous things will change due to twelve causes: nature, relation, subsequent relation, initiation, ultimate, arising, combination, presence, proximity, complete acceptance, unfavorable aspects, and wrong path. Among them, non-virtue by nature is the form and formless that are associated with the mind, which are the afflictions that establish behavior, and other than that, the afflictions and near afflictions that cause all misdeeds. That is, the non-virtue that causes the behavior of desire, the sins of nature and non-nature, these two produce any non-virtue. Other than that, it should be understood as obscured and indeterminate. Non-virtue by relation is the corresponding Dharma of those afflictions and near afflictions themselves. Non-virtue by subsequent relation is the afflictions
