Such is its nature. Regarding intercourse, residing with a man who engages in intercourse, engaging in amorous activities, conversing together, making various gestures, signs, and signals, and accepting the arrival of a man, displaying a net in the place of her nature, and following the actions of men and women other than insertion, such is its nature. Previously defeated and not settled, when he dies, becomes mentally deranged, or flees elsewhere, at that time, one speaks thus: Holy Mother, what I saw before was, when in a secluded place, this Bhikshuni will be defeated and not settled, such is its nature. Any Bhikshu who, after the Sangha has assembled, performs the act of expelling them. Bhikshunis, after the Sangha has assembled, should not prostrate, thus it is ordained. When one makes sounds to a large Sangha in decline, enters into definite renunciation, shows appropriate strength, and dwells within the boundary requesting intercourse, any Bhikshuni who knowingly and deliberately speaks thus: Holy Ones, do not make sounds to the large or small Sanghas, do not enter into definite renunciation, do not show appropriate strength, do not request intercourse while dwelling within the boundary. I will not obstruct you with the Holy One's bowl, the bowl net, the water strainer, the belt, the scriptures, reading, recitation, meditation, yoga, or mindfulness, or with anything that would cause obstruction. To this, the Bhikshunis should say thus: Any Bhikshu, etc., as before, until he will certainly not obstruct, abandon the path of language of entering and returning, even if said three times and not abandoned, such is its nature. Other explanations regarding Sanghavasesa, etc., are not written here due to fear of prolixity. It should be understood from the Vinaya Pitaka. That is, three categories of downfall, namely

That is to say, the category of offenses to be fallen into, the category of offenses to be confessed, and the category of offenses to be restrained. There are many categories of offenses to be confessed, namely: Sanghavasesa, Nissaggiya Pacittiya, Pacittiya, etc. There are many things to be restrained, namely: offenses to be restrained, etc. There are three types of offenses: without remainder, Sanghavasesa, and the remainder of the individual. Among them, there are four types without remainder, namely: Parajika Dharma, the second is Sanghavasesa Dharma, and the individual remainder is all other offenses. There are ten defilements of a renunciate, namely: greed, malice, anger, resentment, lying, discord, flattery, deceit, desire for sin, and wrong views. These are the ten virtues of a renunciate. Similarly, these are the ten conditions of a renunciate. Similarly, these are the ten impurities of a monk. Among them, the five obscurations are: the obscuration of debt, the obscuration of being only a servant, the obscuration of bondage, the obscuration of disease, and the obscuration of fear.

To pay homage to the activities of the Three Jewels and stupas, etc. Bodhisattvas have two categories of downfalls: namely, those that lead to defeat, and those that are included in the downfalls of misdeeds. Similarly, there are three aspects: namely, those that will lead to a downfall, those that should be confessed, and those that should be guarded against. Among these, those that will lead to a downfall are those that lead to a state of defeat. Those that should be confessed are those included in the downfalls of misdeeds. All other downfalls should be properly guarded against. Considering the case of a middling individual, there are five defeats, namely: stealing the property of the Three Jewels is a defeat, abandoning the sacred Dharma is a defeat, Even if a monk is immoral, taking away his yellow robe, beating him, imprisoning him, killing him, or causing him to renounce his vows is a defeat. Committing any of the five heinous crimes is a defeat, and holding wrong views is also a defeat. Considering the case of a lower individual, there are eight defeats, namely: proclaiming emptiness to beings who are not yet mature is a defeat, causing those who have faith in the Buddha's enlightenment to turn back is the second. Completely abandoning individual liberation vows and engaging in the Great Vehicle is the third. The Hearer Vehicle does not abandon desire, etc., and holding this view yourself and causing others to hold it is the fourth. Boasting or desiring one's own qualities for the sake of gain and honor is the fifth. Saying things like, "I am tolerant of the profound Dharma," is the sixth. Causing the Sangha to be punished, or causing the Sangha to abandon the Three Refuges, or taking away the Sangha's offerings is the seventh. Abandoning calm abiding or focusing on recitation and offering enjoyment, or completely abandoning the mind of enlightenment, or not giving to those who beg with stinginess and strong desire, or angrily scolding sentient beings, or making the patience that makes sentient beings diligently rejoice become tiresome, or following afflictions or others and teaching something that appears to be Dharma is the eighth. There are also four defeats:
