The realm of the wise Bodhisattvas and the Shravakas. The former teachers, with diligence, showed love to the people. Like a drop of water from the great ocean, the vast Dharma is from them. That Dharma is filled with nectar, showing the great ocean of scriptures. Like emptiness with a drop of water, the characteristics of conditioned and unconditioned dharmas are determined in various ways. From that, I have also briefly summarized. Therefore, the happiness and well-being of this region, the sole cause of liberation, is called "Self-Continuum," which distinguishes the precious teachings of the Dharma. The characteristics of conditioned and unconditioned dharmas, gathered into one, my merit, may it be given to all sentient beings as conditioned and unconditioned. Thus, the words of the Able One are indeed difficult to understand, and those who clarify them, the former teachers and others, have explained them, and all the vast scriptures, too. How can any words or speech be drawn from that which is difficult to understand? I have long abandoned evil thoughts and ego, and the commentary is said to be explained in this way. From this inferior treatise, self-vows and the perfection of benefiting others arise. This inferior wisdom makes this superior, only fatigue arises. Such fierce words, the fierce vajra strikes and destroys self-deception, setting up one's own medicine for liberation. I have not written a treatise for the unruly. However, old age and decay firmly press down, and many scriptures and dharmas, I am constantly unable to read them, not because of my arrogance. Following various sects and the customs of the royal family, all the places of learning are diligently brought together as one. The Dharma of the Unequaled Victor, only by this alone, because this treatise is unique, in order to understand all places. Although I have created it, it is not for the sake of others. Among these, the taste of the well-spoken nectar is certainly very small. However, it also makes the hearts of noble people self-satisfied and joyful. Therefore, my labor is certainly glorious. However, on this earth, noble people live scattered, and the defilement of unreasonableness is defiled by elephants, so it dwells in the middle.
