Accumulation of merit and wisdom is practiced, practiced for a long time, practiced without interruption, and practiced with pure intention. The perfection of the result is also fourfold, namely: perfection of wisdom, perfection of abandonment, perfection of power, and perfection of form body. The perfection of benefiting others is also fourfold, namely: the perfection of completely liberating sentient beings from the suffering of hell, the perfection of completely liberating from the suffering of animals, the perfection of completely liberating from the suffering of hungry ghosts, and the perfection of completely liberating from the suffering of samsara. Alternatively, the perfection of firmly establishing sentient beings in the Hearer Vehicle, the perfection of firmly establishing in the Solitary Realizer Vehicle, the perfection of firmly establishing in the Bodhisattva Vehicle, and the perfection of firmly establishing in the bliss of liberation. Among these, the perfection of wisdom is again fourfold, namely: wisdom that is not nearly manifested, omniscience, knowing all times and aspects, and knowing without effort. The perfection of abandonment is also fourfold, namely: abandoning all afflictions, extremely abandoning, abandoning with habitual tendencies, and abandoning all habitual tendencies of meditative stabilization and absorption. The perfection of power is also fourfold, namely: the perfection of completely transforming external illusory objects, being blessed and empowered, the perfection of having an extremely long life, being blessed and empowered, the perfection of quickly traversing long distances that obscure the sky, becoming small like sesame seeds, and the perfection of oneself manifesting wondrous and diverse forms. The perfection of the form body is also fourfold, namely: the perfection of excellent marks, the perfection of good signs, the perfection of emptiness of having a worldly son, and the perfection of relics gathered from the essence of vajra. This is a brief summary of the great essence of the Buddha; if it were to be elaborated, it could be elaborated endlessly.

Indeed. When the Buddha, the Bhagavan, blessed himself with life for countless eons, he was able to know everything and to speak. Likewise, the Tathagata is a rare, virtuous, wise, powerful, beneficial, and precious source. Even so, children, due to their own lack of merit, especially lose faith. Even hearing of the Tathagata's delightful perfection of qualities, they will have respect for the Buddha and his teachings. Even with just the ghee on the soles of their feet, the wise will openly acknowledge and enter into the Buddha, the Bhagavan, and his teachings. Likewise, even just the joy of those people will completely and thoroughly rejoice, thereby overwhelming the heaps of sinful deeds destined to ripen, enjoying the complete glory of gods and humans, and correctly tending towards nirvana. Therefore, the Tathagata is called the unsurpassed field of merit. Any act of accumulating merit towards the Tathagata will become a fruit of display. For example, it will become the fruit of desire, the excellent fruit, the transformed fruit, and the fruit of liberation. The Bhagavan said: "Whoever makes even a small offering to the victorious guide, after traversing various happy realms, will obtain the state of nectar." This is, for the time being, the unshared Dharma of the Buddha. Among the qualities of the Buddhas, some are shared with the Shravakas, and some are shared with ordinary beings. How is that reasonable? For example, freedom from afflictions, wishes and wisdom, and individually correct understanding and supernormal powers, meditation, formlessness, immeasurability, liberation, subjugation, birthplaces, and cessation of birthplaces, and so on. Shared with other disciples, the Dharma transcends ordinary beings, freedom from afflictions, wishes, wisdom, individual understanding of qualities, and so on. Thus it is said. The Buddha's unshared Dharmas are not two, such as the invisible crown of the head and the light extending one fathom. The Bhagavan's four meditations
