In order to prevent disputes from arising, enter into samadhi, and through the power of past aspirations, arise from anywhere and enter towns and other places. By focusing on that, the sentient beings residing there will not generate afflictions, and that is the absence of afflictions. Although these are also present in the Shravakas, there is a difference in the activities of the Shravakas and the fully enlightened Buddhas regarding the absence of afflictions. That is, the absence of afflictions in the Shravakas is that upon seeing towns and other places, whatever sentient beings are likely to generate afflictions, they abandon the very sight of them. The Tathagatas, even upon being seen, thoroughly cut off the very cause of their afflictions, and do not abandon the sight. Some say that preventing the dispute of afflictions, the absence of afflictions in the Shravakas is that upon seeing, the afflictions that arise in people are all abandoned. The Tathagatas, however, also thoroughly cut off the stream of afflictions of other sentient beings. All elaborations are disputes, and since those things do not exist as entities, the samadhi of non-discrimination is the absence of afflictions. In order to know this, for the sake of aspiration, entering into samadhi, knowing the arising of the world's birth and death, etc., that is the Shravakas knowing aspiration. The Tathagatas knowing aspiration is without effort because there is no discrimination. Because there is no dependence, there is no attachment. Because there is no obstruction in all places, there is no hindrance. The mind always remains in equanimity, so it abides at all times and gives all answers. The six superknowledges are: the superknowledge of magical powers, the superknowledge of the divine eye, the superknowledge of the divine ear, the superknowledge of knowing the minds of others, the superknowledge of remembering past lives, and the superknowledge of the exhaustion of defilements. The fourfold perfect knowledge is as follows: perfect knowledge of meaning, perfect knowledge of Dharma, perfect knowledge of exact terms, and perfect knowledge of eloquence. The fourfold purity is as follows:
