Also. From where, by non-arising and non-cessation of afflictions, is completely severed, this is the complete knowledge of the origin. What is the nature of dependent arising, without arising and without ceasing, is completely severed, that is the complete knowledge of cessation. The path itself is dependent arising, whatever is the nature of non-arising and non-cessation is completely severed, that is the complete knowledge of the path. Thus, by knowing the Dharma, seeing dependent arising in an instant, it is impossible to see others that have not been seen before. Therefore, the path of seeing is the realization of one instant. If at any time one sees the suchness in an instant, how can the path of seeing be sixteen instants? It is said that the essence of that wisdom is one, but the branches are divided and classified into sixteen instants. Such a way of taming sentient beings is for the sake of being taken care of by that instruction. If so, how is it said that the sixteen aspects are the path of meditation? This is also established after fully observing for the sake of those who desire to go, residing in the meaning of knowing suchness by other aspects. Suchness is the essence itself. With this thought, although the realization is one instant by the power of reason, the realization of the path of seeing is said to be sixteen instants. Those who said, when, because of being indivisible, the pure nature of the Dharma realm is all realized, but depending on the arising of certainty, realizing with the meaning of going to all, therefore, when the wisdom of manifesting all dharmas as selflessness and generating the clearest wisdom arises, the Bodhisattva attains the path of seeing, thus it is said. That itself should be said, whoever is the first of the Extremely Joyful Ground, form and other dharmas, from the beginning, are realized without arising, therefore, in the nature of forbearance of non-arising dharma, the union of wisdom and samadhi, unspeakable, the instant of forbearance of knowing the Dharma in the suffering truth is the path of seeing. Knowing the Dharma in the suffering truth and so on is the path of meditation, thus it is said. Unseen in the cycle of beginningless ignorance and continuous transmigration.
