That which is completely encompassed by the most excellent Dharma of self-nature is the practice of accumulation. The nature of the path of seeing, the nature of the ground of great joy, is the practice of accumulation. In the nature of the second ground and so forth, in the nature of antidotes, it is also the practice of accumulation. The realm of practice of the two paths, or the practice of definite emergence, is through the blessings of the path of meditation. It is mentioned in passing, it has been established. Now, what is appropriate should be stated. The Bodhicitta should be meditated upon by completely surrounding it with the aspects of the limbs of enlightenment, as it is said. Because the Bodhisattva integrates the Bodhicitta, which is inseparable from emptiness and compassion, into the mind, he should meditate by following the thirty-three dharmas of the limbs of enlightenment. Therefore, enlightenment is omniscient, and the limbs are in accordance with it. As it is said in the Twenty-five Thousand Stanza Prajnaparamita: Shariputra, the Bhagavan Mother, abiding in the Perfection of Wisdom, should fully understand the four mindfulnesses, and so forth. Likewise, one should abide by observing the body and so forth in the internal and external body, feelings, mind, and dharmas. It is not to generate conceptual thoughts associated with the body and so forth. This is the yoga of not focusing on things like, 'Is my body permanent or impermanent? Is it happiness or suffering?' The Shravakas practice through the gate of reversing non-focus. That Shravaka practitioner focuses on aspects such as permanence. The Bodhisattva practitioner focuses on them through the yoga of non-focus. Therefore, the aspects of impermanence and so forth, even emptiness, become the objects of Bodhisattvas and so forth. Because the nature of reality is manifested, the path of the Shravakas also becomes familiar. Now, likewise, according to the number of the first three mind generations, the four mindfulnesses, the four correct abandonments, and the four legs of miraculous power are gathered together. It is like this: because faith and so forth of the virtuous mind are completely familiar in the ground of accumulation, the Bodhicitta is truly accepted, and generosity and discipline, and so forth.

Due to accumulating virtuous deeds and possessing the complete accumulation of merit, in order to accomplish the accumulation of wisdom, countless eons have been transcended. The instruction of the manifest knowledge of the teachings says: On the ground of purification itself is supreme. Thus it is said. The fourth generation of mind is the stage of aspiring conduct, the path of joining, the nature of worldly meditation, the root of virtue in accordance with the definitive aspect of the path of meditation with outflows, the nature of the faculties and powers, and is established as the practice of entering. In particular, special aspiration is the holding of the qualities of the five faculties such as faith, and the complete purity of instructions and teachings that are unrelated to others, so that in the end, aspiration is strengthened by one's own correct practice. On the other side of the three knowledges, because of the difference of other firewood, the fire becomes more and more distinguished, therefore the particularly superior effort is the joining. The uninterrupted path will become very close to the arising of the path of seeing. It is said in the Sutra Unraveling the Thought: Here, the Bodhisattva will be fully endowed with virtues such as generosity, and will also universally practice afflictions. For example, on the stage of aspiring conduct, when entering the small, medium, large, and largest aspirations, it is said. Those that are in accordance with the definitive aspect are also explained in detail with many clear distinctions, such as the heats, the peaks, the patiences, and the supreme dharmas. Also, gata (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), bidha (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), and srakara (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) have the same meaning, because it is said in the treatise Jali. In some places, gata (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) is a general expression, such as the aspect of heat, the aspect of peak, the aspect of patience, and the aspect of supreme dharma. That is also a branch of definiteness. For example, definiteness is determination, that is, complete certainty. Its branch is four divisions, for example, the small one in accordance with the definitive aspect is heat, the medium one is peak, the large one is patience, and the largest one is supreme dharma. Like fire produced by rubbing wood, transcending the world

Because it is the sign before the fire of wisdom, it is the stage of warmth. Because it is the peak of the roots of increasing virtue, it is the stage of the peak. Because it is the supreme worldly Dharma of forbearance, it is the stage of forbearance. Because all worldly Dharmas are supreme, it is the stage of supreme Dharma. Furthermore, the stages of warmth and so on are divided into twelve types each, with the distinctions of small, medium, and superior. These stages of warmth and so on are the cause for attaining the three enlightenments, because some individuals are at the peak of the power of lineage and so on, so they are also the cause for attaining enlightenment. The Hearers and Solitary Buddhas of the Vehicle never attain the supreme enlightenment through the stages of warmth and so on. Among them, the three stages of warmth are, in order, the nature of small, medium, and great aspirations, and are divided into nine aspirations with the distinctions of small and so on, which is self-benefit. By what does self-benefit become complete? Benefiting others is done in a special way. The three stages of the peak, just as they are in nature, also have nine aspirations, which are self-benefit and the benefit of others. Here, the application is interrupted. The three stages of forbearance, just as they are in nature, also have nine aspirations, which are the benefit of others. Here, the application is uninterrupted. From what does this transform into the benefit of others? Because one's own benefit does not contradict, self-benefit is accomplished. Thus, practicing twenty-seven aspirations, in order to please the Bodhisattva, the Buddhas and so on praise, respect, and extol, and these are also twenty-seven in the same way. The aspiration of the supreme Dharma stage, everything is the nature of extreme, in the state of smallness, by remembering all aspirations, the merit that is manifestly accumulated does not deviate from the two truths, and when it is completely dedicated to perfect enlightenment, the Bodhisattva will promise. In the medium state, the meaning of the merit that one has completely dedicated increases manifestly, in the relative truth, focusing on the roots of virtue, the mind of rejoicing arises, and in the ultimate truth, not focusing, when rejoicing, one obtains equality in the activities of self and other merit. Sometimes, rejoicing precedes dedication, so dedication is also done, therefore these sequences are not fixed. Dedication and rejoicing.
