Possessing the four characteristics of summarizing, like the sun, in order to fully ripen the crops of those to be tamed. Because of individually and correctly understanding, it is the place of excellent wisdom. The fourteenth is possessing the perfection of wisdom and individually correct understanding, like the pleasant song of a Gandharva, in order to expound the Dharma to the assembly of those to be tamed. Similar to rainfall, it is the place of the Dharma cloud. The fifteenth is possessing clairvoyance and a teacher, like a king, because of having the power of not being destroyed, practicing benefiting others, and being the cause of non-decline. The hook of the king's command does not let beings fall into wrong paths, similarly, the hook of the teacher is the Bodhisattva. The sixteenth is possessing the accumulation of merit and wisdom, like a storehouse, because it is the treasury of extremely vast merit and wisdom accumulation. The seventeenth is possessing the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, like a great road, because all noble beings follow its footsteps. The eighteenth is becoming a tranquilizer, possessing compassion and insight, like a mount, because it does not fall into samsara and nirvana, thus proceeding correctly in bliss. The nineteenth is possessing dharani and fearlessness, like the water of a lotus pond, the water of a lotus pond is an inexhaustible stream of water. The stream of water flows continuously, similar to the Dharma, therefore it can arise to show the inexhaustible dharani of the meaning of the Dharma that has been heard and not heard. The twentieth is all conditioned things are impermanent, all contaminated things are suffering, all phenomena are without self, nirvana is peace, this possesses the four Dharma gifts, like pleasant speech, because for those who want liberation, it is pleasant to hear. The twenty-first is obtaining forbearance of non-arising Dharma, because the Bodhisattvas of that land do not distinguish between fruit and action, so it is the one path. Possessing this is like a river, because it naturally flows continuously. The twenty-second is possessing skillful means.

Endowed with wisdom, rejoicing, residing in Tushita heaven and so on, endowed with those, and endowed with the Dharmakaya, like a cloud, in order to perfect the benefit of all sentient beings, it is because of entering from that. Just as clouds make the vessel world perfect. Among them, the sixth and so on, the fifteen bodhicittas, are the nature of the path that transcends the world, endowed with the eightfold noble path. Among these, the first nine bodhicittas are the nine bhumis such as the stainless one. The other six bodhicittas are the stages of the Dharmamegha bhumi, the special nature and the special path. The last of the special paths, the twentieth bodhicitta, is the anantarika-marga of the Buddha bhumi. The twenty-first and twenty-second bodhicittas are the Samantabhadra of the main practice and subsequent speech, also called Samantaprabha, which is the Buddha bhumi. Therefore, for all the worlds, possessing the endless past, possessing the nature of the inconceivable collection of qualities. With the power of great compassion, truly sweeping away impurities, benefiting the assembly of sentient beings without interruption, like the sky, all the different images of the three realms appear in the mirror of internal action. In order to perfect that inconceivable body, perfectly combined with the incomparable treasury of the thirty-two major marks, adorning the body with the pearl-like ornaments of the eighty minor marks, the teacher, like a tree taking root, must be determined to understand as bodhicitta. Composed by the great scholar Ten Powers Glorious Friend, from the determination of conditioned and unconditioned phenomena, concerning the conduct of Bodhisattvas, called the Determination of the Arising of Bodhicitta, the twenty-sixth chapter. Now, the order of practice of the path of the Bodhisattvas will be explained. For example, some royal families desire to become kings, and those who wish to benefit them rejoice in this. First, they put on armor. Then they abide, universally abiding on vehicles such as elephants. After that, gather all the armies.
