Similarly, when a yogi develops craving for the sake of definitely attaining liberation, focusing on the truth of the path is called individual forbearance. When craving arises from summarizing and saying that one is definitely attaining liberation by treading the path of cessation on the aggregates, then it becomes the summarized forbearance focused on the truth of the path. This is to be combined with thirty-one. Here, those who desire liberation should meditate on these four types of forbearance in two ways: the aspect of knowing the Dharma and the aspect of subsequent knowing. Among them, the form included in desire is impermanent, which is the aspect of knowing the Dharma. The form that is practiced in form is impermanent, which is the aspect of subsequent knowing. Similarly, the remaining aggregates should be combined individually and collectively as before. Similarly, the origin and so on should be combined as before, as appropriate. Why should the two types of forbearance be meditated upon? It is said that the truth is realized through the combination or the two types of wisdom. Therefore, in order to be in accordance with the truths, the two types of forbearance should also be meditated upon. So, what is the sign of meditating on forbearance by summarizing? It is said that the sign of meditating on the four types of forbearance is: for example, craving arises from thinking that the aggregates are impermanent, craving arises from thinking that the aggregates are the cause of suffering, craving arises from thinking that the cessation of suffering is permanent, and arrogance arises from thinking that the path to the cessation of suffering is uncertain. Also, The yogi who is accustomed to this, Because of good practice of forbearance, With aversion, diligence, and the four wheels, And also complete with right view. Skilled in the three times and liberated, All obstacles are removed, My retinue is all embraced, Always complete with excellent conduct. Desiring supreme definite liberation, Clear forbearance will arise. All conditioned things are impermanent, Destroying the nature of suffering, The realization of truth will manifest. It is said. The meaning of these is: Because of good practice of forbearance. It refers to those who are very accustomed to forbearance. Universal aversion refers to:

I have genuine renunciation, like a fire burning on the top of my head. Diligence is not abandoning responsibility. The so-called four wheels are the four great wheels, as follows: dwelling in a suitable place, relying on a noble person, my aspiration is pure, and being fully in accordance with the previously accumulated merit. The so-called being skilled in the three times, the three times are as follows: the time of calm abiding, the time of thorough training, and the time of abandonment. Or the time of entering into meditation, the time of abiding in meditation, and the time of rising from meditation. Being skilled in these three. The so-called liberation from all obscurations, the obscurations to seeing the truth are four, as follows: karmic obscurations, afflictive obscurations, obscurations of maturation, and obscurations of going. Liberation from them. My accumulations are gathering, meaning: there are two accumulations, as follows: the accumulation of merit and the accumulation of wisdom. Among them, the accumulation of merit is the quality of the nature of generosity, ethics, and meditation. The accumulation of wisdom is the quality of the nature of hearing, thinking, and meditating, and the wisdom born from the maturation of previous actions, that is, the quality of its nature. Furthermore, there are two kinds of accumulations, as follows: the accumulation of pure ethics and the accumulation of pure view. Among them, the characteristic of not harming others and the characteristic of following others are ethics. By its own truth and abandonment being completely pure, whatever is completely pure, this is pure ethics. By peace and wisdom being pure is pure view. Because (it is said in the scriptures) without wisdom there is no meditation, without meditation there is no wisdom. Therefore, that aspect is divided into four kinds of blessings, as follows: the quality of the nature of ethics is the blessing of truth. The quality of the nature of generosity is the blessing of abandonment. The quality of the nature of all samadhis is the blessing of peace. The quality of the nature of knowing all is the blessing of wisdom. Those accumulations become Hearers' because of inferiority.
