Manifests. If form and consciousness are not simultaneously related, then by what power would form be able to be experienced? Therefore, form is not the nature of consciousness, because then it would be like consciousness in existence. However, if it is thought that the form of consciousness is the nature of awareness, then at that time, consciousness would also be non-existent like form. Consciousness does not generate form, because the formless cannot generate the formed. Nor does consciousness arise from form, because form itself is false and lacks the ability to accomplish a purpose. There is no other relationship except for its own nature and the relationship that arises from it. Moreover, if something is not related to something, then correctly recognizing it is also impossible, like recognizing the nature of consciousness is like the son of a barren woman. The two relationships of its own nature and the characteristics that arise from it, and also the things associated with consciousness and manifest forms, do not exist, because the universally present object is invisible. Therefore, since the imagined is abandoned, the mind is established as non-dual. To show this, it is said, "Because it abides in mind-only." In order to establish the non-dual wisdom that abandons everything through the net of conceptualization, therefore, non-dual wisdom itself is liberation. Is it not liberation to abandon desire and so forth by meditating on the four noble truths? How could the mind itself, free from the illusion of the imagined, be liberation? This is to dispel the doubts of the Hearers' school. Desire and so forth are mentioned, and the word "la" in it means "for what reason." The word "grong" is synonymous with collection. Among them, the collection of sense faculties is not the place of desire, therefore it does not abide in the sense faculties. It does not abide in objects, that is, it does not abide in form and so on. It does not abide in the mind, that is, it does not abide in the six aggregates of consciousness. "It does not abide in self, it does not abide in other." Because the self is not established by valid cognition, it does not abide in self. If the self exists, then other will be known; when the self is not established, because there is no other, it does not abide in other. That is

It is not existent, because existence is not found. Otherwise, like form and so on, it would become an obvious complete severance. Nor is it non-existent, because some consider it to be the nature arising from the mind. Then, how do sentient beings arise without a cause? Therefore, it is said, "unrelated connection" and so on. Because there is no external object, the objects are illusory. Therefore, they do not arise from that (external object). Some say that it arises from the delusion of the mind. That is not because there is no entity. Therefore, desire arises from the cause of an unrelated connection. And also, it cannot be indicated where, like lightning arising from the invisible and non-manifest cloud. Therefore, that is the very distinction. Similarly, in order to show that other afflictions also have no entity, therefore it is said, "Similarly, hatred" and so on. Just as desire is shown to be without entity, so hatred and ignorance should also be understood as without entity. Thus, it is not only desire, hatred, and ignorance, but also any other kind of affliction, namely pride, views, and doubt, and so on. They are pervasive in the three realms, that is, the nature of pervading the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. It should be understood that these arise from the poison of distinction, and not from the nature of entities. Furthermore, the Shravakas say this: Distinction is also hatred and so on. If desire and so on arise from distinction, then distinction itself cannot be without a basis. No one has ever seen a burning flame spread into the sky without firewood. Its basis is the mind itself. Therefore, since it is connected with the mind, desire and so on arise entirely from the mind. How can they arise without a cause? If even that which arises from a cause is without entity, then all those associated with the cause will become without entity. Therefore, desire and so on are established as entities. And also, because it is an entity, liberation is also established by abandoning it. But such a meaning is not true, because what
