It is not so. Those who speak of a person argue that a person knows by relying on knowledge. However, if this knowledge is analyzed, it is included in the knowledge mentioned earlier. In this way, for the time being, there is no simultaneous omniscience. If someone says that even so, one can gradually cut off the object, and when knowledge enters, because one can fully enjoy all that should be known, one can achieve omniscience. Therefore, it is said in the scriptures: If it is not so, at one time, the interests of many who are to be tamed will be harmed, and the teacher's omniscience will become a mere designation. If it is necessary to examine the thoughts and habits of those who are to be tamed at the same time, and then benefit them by teaching the Dharma, etc., then, if this is the case, while focusing on one, others will be neglected. Therefore, the interests of many who are to be tamed will be harmed. If it is said that because of the continuous ability, just as fire can burn everything, because it is impossible to burn everything at the same time, so omniscience should be viewed in the same way. If this is the case, because it does not actually exist, it is tantamount to admitting that the omniscience of the Buddhas is a mere designation. If it is said that one can simultaneously cut off all the various knowable objects that exist, then, in this way, because one can fully comprehend everything, the name of omniscience becomes real. Therefore, it is said in the scriptures: The teacher's omniscience will also become a mere designation. So, what is omniscience like? In order to argue this point, the sutra says in verse: All the knowable objects of the three times are different, why in the nature of non-duality, He knows the Bhagavan, therefore, one wants to call him the one-time omniscient. This is to explain one's own point of view, because one can simultaneously know all the different knowable objects such as the past, present, and future, and does not cling to the distinction between the grasper and the grasped, so it is said that the Bhagavan has already accomplished all this. This is the meaning of this sentence. Therefore, through this non-elaborate way, one has obtained the wisdom that pervades all knowable objects, so it is said that the Buddhas, the Bhagavans, do not have conceptual thoughts, and possess non-conceptual wisdom.
