It is for the sake of giving away the body and so on. The words "many kalpas" in the sutra indicate the measure of time. The words "this is extremely secret" in the sutra mean that it is secret because it cannot be declared to others, not because it is not indicated. "This is the supreme position," in the sutra, "position" refers to the place, and it is supreme because abiding here is unshakable. The words "transcending all the realms of these directions" mean that it is the realm of practice that transcends all expressions. The words "this is fearless" mean that it is free from all fears. The words "even if there is faith in this" mean that even having only faith will not be harmed by the fear of falling into evil destinies, so who would strive for this? What need is there to mention diligence? The words "for this" in the sutra refer to obtaining that fruit. The words "ignorant" in the sutra mean having an attachment to evil views. The words "small merit" in the sutra mean that in past lives, there was no accumulation of virtuous roots. A person with such a nature will not even generate a little faith here, let alone other differences, because they do not believe "this is true," so they will not even generate a little faith here. So, who is in accordance with this? Therefore, it is said, "Whoever accumulates virtue," which means, "The roots of virtue are fully matured, the wise are in accordance with this." That is combined by listening to the holy Dharma, with the continuum of the mind of practice, which is the meaning of combination. After thus completing the explanation perfectly, in order to completely dedicate the virtuous roots arising from the labor of doing this, it is said: This treatise on the door of entering the womb, Whatever I have done with my own strength, By that virtue, May all beings attain the three bodies. This is what was said. The conduct of the great wise ones, completely and without error, cannot be expressed by someone like me, but according to how the guru's instructions are distinguished, after hearing it, I have explained it in that way. The treatise is like an ocean, holding its own tenets, arrogant and evil, possessing boundless depth and breadth, completely crossed by the boat of wisdom, gradually dwelling on the cushion of samadhi.
