What is there to say? Therefore, just as a wish-fulfilling jewel fulfills various wishes, similarly, a single non-conceptual samadhi accomplishes various benefits for sentient beings. Thus it is said. Or, if asked, how can the term for the existence of differentiated entities be established for the undifferentiated wisdom of non-conceptuality? Therefore, it is said, "Just like a wish-fulfilling jewel," and so on. Just as the power of excellent meritorious actions causes a great and inconceivable rain of various kinds of resources to fall, the wish-fulfilling jewel, which enjoys the fruits of meritorious actions, is renowned for having great power, completely fulfilling the various wishes of people as they are, and being present before them. Similarly, this wisdom, although non-conceptual, accomplishes various benefits for sentient beings due to the power of past aspirations. Therefore, it is not unreasonable to establish various terms for a single wisdom. If it is said that if this is the case, then one alone is sufficient, and other samadhis become meaningless, therefore, because there are many differences among those. Therefore, for a single essence of wisdom, the distinctions of samadhi can also gather many. Thus it is said. Other samadhis are distinguished by their functions. Therefore, although samadhi is one, it is shown as many by its function. The wisdom that has been spoken of is not attainable by those who hold to permanence and annihilation. Like this, if one conceptually grasps at existence, then one will fall into the extreme of grasping at permanence itself. If one conceptually grasps at non-existence, then in that case, one will also fall into the extreme of holding to annihilation. Therefore, this is of a nature that arises from the Middle Way, so this wisdom is not attainable by those who hold such views. Therefore, in order to show that one should strive in the Middle Way, the non-conceptual wisdom that arises from the Middle Way is not attainable by those who hold to permanence and annihilation. Thus it is said. If the Middle Way is analyzed in detail, it is merely mind-only, and mind-only primarily represents dependently originated phenomena. Other-powered

It is merely an illusion, because it appears as the grasping and the grasped. If it exists as it appears, then it would become an extreme of permanence. If there is nothing at all, then it would be said to be annihilation. Therefore, it is necessary to acknowledge that there is a basis for designation, and therefore, it is also said to be the Middle Way. It is merely a nominal distinction, and apart from that, if one examines it with reason, then here, no other way is reasonable in any way. Then, in the sutra similar to the past, it says: Kungawo, if one says "exists," then it becomes permanent; if one says "does not exist," then it becomes annihilation. Therefore, how is it that the Thus-Gone One teaches the Dharma by the Middle Way? There is no fault in that, because it is mainly spoken to refute the individual, and not to make others the main focus. That which is not making others the main focus is also spoken by the Blessed One because he made the abandonment of the individual. Thus, the mere consciousness-only is established as the Middle Way, and for the sake of grasping onto that, For those who desire perfect enlightenment, For the sake of generating non-conceptual wisdom, Therefore, in mere consciousness-only, One should always apply meditation. This is said. Those who desire to fully awaken to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, for the sake of fully generating non-conceptual wisdom, should always apply meditation on the contemplation that all of this is merely consciousness-only. Thus, the appearance and vision of consciousness-only arise, and if one does not see the nature of things in everything, because there is no grasping, there is also no being grasped. Thus, one does not truly see the mere consciousness-only, and therefore, because one is free from the conceptualization of grasping and being grasped, non-conceptual wisdom will naturally arise. Therefore, One should always apply meditation. This is said. This is the benefit, and therefore it shows that one should strive. Thus, one who possesses the intelligence of diligently meditating on that will gradually see the nature of non-conceptualization as the ten grounds gradually dissolve conceptualization. And whatever is the nature of the two, grasping and being grasped, one will realize that it is the nature of non-duality.
