Furthermore, it is said that for the non-conceptual wisdom that does not discriminate names, there are no names that are the cause of designating things, and thus it becomes firm. If liberation is attained through true wisdom, then it would follow that even Arhats would become Buddhas. If it is said that they also, through the power of non-conceptual wisdom, completely eradicate the aggregates of afflictions from the root and attain complete Nirvana forever, then, therefore, it is stated, "The consciousness of Arhats reverts, because they have not abandoned dualistic grasping." Although it is true that they are liberated by the power of non-conceptual wisdom, the reversion of consciousness is very different because they have not abandoned dualistic grasping. Thus, they generate true knowledge through the gateway of realizing the selflessness of persons and abide in the realm of Nirvana without remainder of aggregates, but not through the selflessness of phenomena. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, through the gateway of the selflessness of persons and phenomena, are free from afflictions together with imprints and all obscurations of knowledge, therefore, they have no attachment or obstruction to knowledge and enter into all knowable objects, therefore, it is stated, "The entry of the Buddhas is intended to be irreversible." If non-conceptual wisdom is beyond elaboration, then how does it establish phenomena? How can it be appropriate to engage while being non-conceptual? Therefore, it is stated, "For example, an arrow that has been shot, goes by the power of having been filled before." Similarly, non-conceptual wisdom also enters by the force of previous strength. Just as an arrow shot with the force of the hand's effort travels as far as it is aimed, so too, non-conceptual wisdom follows what is done by the power of previous aspiration. Is the non-conceptual wisdom that is spoken of permanent or impermanent? Since there are no two qualities in one, if it is said. Therefore, it is stated, "Because the object of permanence is entered." If that is the case, then all consciousness will become permanent.

Therefore, it is because of entering through fabrication. That is because of focusing on Suchness, one sees the Dharmadhatu without error. Because of possessing immutability, non-discrimination itself is permanent. This is called the second reason: whatever has change is only impermanent, but non-discrimination itself has no change. Thus, both reasons are valid, non-discrimination is permanent. If asked how it is also impermanent, therefore it is said: Because it is conditioned, it is impermanent. Because all conditioned things appear as impermanent, it is called impermanent. Monks, knowing that the Dharma is like a raft, you should abandon even the Dharmas, what need is there to mention non-dharmas? So it was said. If non-discriminating wisdom exists, and what is called Suchness also exists as a thing, then how will it not become contradictory? Therefore, it is said: In order to obtain all perfect dominion, by abandoning generosity and so on, the meaning of the Sutra spoken of as a raft, is spoken to the Buddhas. Thus it is said, in order to obtain dominion endowed with all perfections, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, abandon generosity and so on, but do not abandon non-discriminating wisdom, because the Tathagatas are its nature. Therefore, the meaning of 'like a raft' that appears in the Sutra, I know is spoken only in terms of generosity and so on. What is the place of that non-discriminating wisdom? Is it the mind? Or is it something else? If it is said to be the mind, then wherever it is, other dharmas are also there, and that would become elaborate. If it is something else, then it must be pointed out. Therefore, it is said: That which has become another place, is considered to be its place. Thus it is said, the change of place refers to Suchness, it is the place of wisdom. Why is it not said to be the mind? Therefore, it is said: Because it would become two faults, the mind is not its place. So it is said. If the mind becomes the place, then

English
There are two kinds of faults. Why is that? Because that which is called "mind" desires to accumulate and enter into various forms. If it is the first case, that is not possible, because the seeds of samsara have been completely removed. The second case is also not correct, because there is no entering consciousness. Moreover, the mind is that which completely cuts off the object of general appearance, while the transcendental wisdom is the opposite of that. Therefore, one should rely on wisdom, and not rely on consciousness. Thus it is taught, because it does not enter into things as they are, so one should not rely on it. Wisdom is that which completely cuts off how things exist as they are, so one should rely on it. This is the gist of it. If there is no example, how can this be understood? Therefore, it says: Because it does not hinder going, Because it distinguishes well, Like the sky for all, Appearances of form, this is the place. Likewise, when the place is transformed, That is the ultimate entry, In a place with faults, there is none. Thus it is said, for example, the forms of matter Do not hinder the flow of going, therefore the sky distinguishes well, so the sky is called a place. Similarly, if the place is transformed, then non-conceptual wisdom will arise. As long as the place is with faults, it will not arise in any way. Therefore, it concludes with "That is its place." If that is the case, since it arises by relying on it, thusness is the place, and the other is the dependent. If someone insists on clarifying these, therefore it says: Wisdom and the transformation of the place, Those two at that time, Are considered to be the object of the place. Thus it is said, meaning that these two also transform each other by power, therefore it is not certain that only one becomes the place, but both have the object of the place and the dependent. Thus it is shown that without the transformation of the place, non-conceptual wisdom will not arise, and without wisdom, there is no transformation of the place. Therefore, at that stage of dwelling, both expressions apply simultaneously, root and complete distinction.
