It is like observing the two as if there is no Dharma. The term "is" means that one should observe that the realm of the non-dual Dharma is also distinguished by being completely pure. If one asks how to know that the non-conceptual wisdom is the opposite of this, therefore it is said: Just as the Dharma realm is non-dual, as one wishes to distinguish it, so too is non-conceptual wisdom distinguished by not seeing duality. It is said that just as the Dharma realm is not true and is distinguished by the absence of complete calculation, so too is this wisdom distinguished by seeing the absence of the grasper and the grasped. If it is distinguished by not seeing duality, then how will it not become any of the four kinds of non-existence where there is nothing at all? In order to refute the bad debater, it is said, "Not compounded, because of." It is not previously non-existent, nor is it non-existent after destruction, because arising and ceasing appear in compounded phenomena. Thus it is said. One does not exist in the other, there is no manifestation in it, and there is no intention to give, because there is no Dharma of the nature of grasper and grasped. The nature of one not existing in the other is: a cow does not have a horse, and a horse does not have a cow. If this is the case, then there is no duality in it, so there is no place for this complete calculation. If there is no duality in it, then it does not deviate from the nature of annihilation, therefore it is said: Because there is no duality, there is existence. It means that if the thing itself becomes non-existent, then it will also become annihilation, and when it is distinguished by the absence of duality, therefore it will not become this fault, thus it is shown. Therefore it is said: Previously non-existent, etc., are empty. By "non-duality means other" it is shown that that non-dual wisdom is the opposite of the things you have completely calculated. Knowing is clear. If it is said that knowing is not clear, then does this mean that there is no obstacle to all knowing? Or does it refer to another Dharma unique to non-conceptual wisdom itself? If the Dharma of conceptualization is used, how can the Dharma of non-conceptualization be described? Therefore,

With non-discriminating wisdom, what is clear and unclear? That is said to be clear or unclear. It is not present in all minds. This statement shows that it is uncommon. How does the Dharma of discrimination show it? The answer to that question is: If one realizes the meaning of non-duality, that is said to be clear. If one realizes the meaning of duality, one should know that it is not clear. So it is said. Or, how is it that clarity and unclarity exist at the same time? Therefore, it is said, 'If one realizes the meaning of non-duality,' these two dharmas are not established at the same time, but are established on different things. 'If one realizes the meaning of duality,' that is to say, when, after the wisdom that transcends the world, the pure worldly wisdom is manifested, it is the time of applying terms. It is a concluding statement, for the sake of realizing the two meanings, namely the grasped and the grasper. Likewise, agitation and sinking, etc., are clear and unclear by pacifying. This is said to show the seeds without remainder. By the two, agitation and sinking, being pacified, the clarity and unclarity of wisdom are spoken of. Therefore, if there is no agitation and sinking, then one should know that the mind enters into equality. Therefore, at that time, the wise one knows that, and should know that it enters into equality. So it is said. There is no other than non-discriminating wisdom and the Dharmadhatu. Because it is said that, because the knower and the known are spoken of separately, these two are clearly different. If it is focused on the Dharmadhatu? If the Dharmadhatu is focused on, then it will be established as an object of elaboration, because as long as it is completely permanent, it is elaboration. If it is not focused on it, or it is not focused on, then how can one distinguish between the knower and the known? Therefore, just as two and discrimination cannot distinguish their differences, so also Suchness and wisdom abide without mutual difference. So it is said. This is because those who desire meaning differentiate through the door of establishment.
