Since one does not exist, that is the nature of accumulation, therefore, where can one see the arising of one and many ultimate entities from mere non-existence? It is also unreasonable to have another view that many arise from many. For example, if each fruit is produced by all the causes, then at that time it becomes the view that many produce one. For that view, the fault has already been stated. However, if each cause is only connected to one fruit, then at that time it becomes the view that one produces one. For that view, the refutation has also been stated. Therefore, the reason is not unestablished. There is also no other view of arising from anything other than the four extremes. All permanent things have also been previously refuted, therefore, uncertainty also does not exist. Because it exists in the similar aspect, contradiction also does not exist. The teacher also, because he sees that in the conventional, things existing as the nature of cause and effect appear as one arising from many and many arising from one, and in order to guide foolish beings, after understanding the difference of the arising of eye consciousness etc. in the way of following and reversing in the eye etc., when showing the reason of the effect, he says that if the causes are different, the effects will also be different. It should be understood that it is not so ultimately, because ultimately that is unestablished, as analyzed before. Therefore, all that is said such as "It is unreasonable that many fruits arise from one cause," etc., all those answers have also been given separately. All those who say that the reason "because it is dependent arising" is uncertain etc., those answers have also been stated previously. All those who say that "If things do not have self-nature ultimately, then they will not change even in the conventional," etc., all those answers have also been stated previously. All those who say that the reason of the characteristic of being separate from one and many is unestablished etc., those answers have also been refuted by the previous teacher. However, some people speak falsely because they have hatred for this.

Therefore, it should be said that the accusation of fault is a misunderstanding. If a reductio ad absurdum argument is made here, then the reason is also not established. For example, even if the opponents do not admit that things are separate from one and many, nevertheless, since they admit the dharma that pervades this, then in effect they also admit this. In this regard, for the time being, those who cling to Ishvara and so forth as being permanent and of a single essence, since they admit that these are the dharma of being closely associated with the gradual arising of results, then in effect they also admit being separate from a single essence. Because for things that have the same essence, there is no stage or difference in producing an effect, so just like before, it is impossible to produce an effect later as well. But if it is indeed able to produce an effect, then since its essence is inconsistent with the previous stage and characteristics, then singleness is lost. If it is said correctly, this is also not many, because in reality, there is no connection between one's own and others' continuums simultaneously and in other things, which has already been proven before. Those who admit that the three uncompounded things, such as space, are of a single essence and are not closely associated with the production of results, since they also admit that these are the knowable essence of the gradual arising of knowledge, then in effect they also admit being separate from a single essence. Because each of these knowledges, the essence of what is to be known by that knowledge will become different. If it does not change, then since there is no difference, it is not appropriate that it be the essence of what is to be known by that knowledge later as it was before. Therefore, these should not be considered to be of a single essence. Nor is it of many essences, which has already been proven before. Some people cling to time, the person, primordial matter, Brahma, and so forth as the cause for establishing various beings, as being permanent and of a single essence. These people also, since they admit that these are the dharma of holding closely to the essence of various collections of true and false things, either gradually or simultaneously, then in effect it is singleness.
