The arising of non-existence is definitely unreasonable, because nature cannot be changed. Because the abilities are determined separately, it is not possible to make the nature contradictory. If this is done, then rabbit horns and so on should also arise, the wise say. Therefore, since the ability of the cause is determined, the establishment will definitely change, saying this is irrelevant. If someone thinks, how can these phenomena of non-existence arising not be contradictory in the conventional truth? This is unreasonable, because contradiction can only be established on the thing itself, so establishing contradiction on false things is irrelevant. If it is not like this, because it is reasonable, arising will only be the ultimate truth, not the conventional truth. Furthermore, what we say about the arising of phenomena is the conventional truth, like illusion, etc., is only to make a fabricated negation of it, and establish it as false by saying contradictory, not to others. This will be explained in detail below. Therefore, the existence of phenomena should not be a true arising, nor should it be non-existence, the arising of these things is only like illusion, only showing falsehood as much as possible. Therefore, all things only exist like illusion. Precisely because of this, the Bhagavan, with great wisdom, denied the arising of existence and non-existence, so he said that all dharmas are unborn. By preventing the arising of existence and non-existence in various ways, he declared non-arising. There are also those who say that the Bhagavan only starts from the nature of the completely imputed, and then establishes that the arising of existence and non-existence is contradictory, not from the suchness. To this it must also be said, if the nature of things is unborn in the ultimate sense, but it is still thought that it has arisen in the suchness, and it is thought that the nature of the completely imputed is the nature of the completely imputed, then this is unreasonable at this time. Or, the nature of things themselves is indeed truly arisen, but, because it has not arisen as the image of the grasper and the grasped, it is the nature of the completely imputed.

If one thinks that it is real, if that is the case, then just as the arising of existence and non-existence by the nature of what is imputed is contradictory, similarly, in the nature of ultimate truth, why would this not be contradictory in arising? Because in the arising of reality itself, there is no arising in any other way except in the form of existence and non-existence, so this is possible. Therefore, whatever arises dependently is empty of inherent existence in ultimate truth, like illusion and so on. This reason is also not uncertain, because if it were reversed, there would be a valid cognition with the faults as previously stated. If it is dependent on causes and conditions, then it becomes something made by nature, but it is not truly real, because what is unmade is not appropriate to depend on others. Whatever is made is not inherently possessed of its own essence, because nature is unchanging, so no one can change it. Therefore, if it is truly real, then arising from what has not arisen and ceasing after arising are mutually contradictory, so it was previously stated that there is no connection. Therefore, this is also not uncertain. Therefore, it is not reasonable for inherent existence to arise from causes and conditions, because if it arises from causes and conditions, inherent existence becomes something made. How can inherent existence be called something made? Inherent existence is not made and does not depend on others. It is said. Therefore, the sutra states that because of clinging to the nature of things as permanent and impermanent, it follows that one falls into two extremes. As stated in the *Lion's Roar Sutra Adorned with Glory*: "Bhagavan, these two are views of two extremes to be avoided, namely, the view of annihilation and the view of permanence. Bhagavan, if one views that all conditioned phenomena are impermanent, then that becomes a view of annihilation. That is not a correct view. Bhagavan, if one views that nirvana is permanent, then that becomes a view of permanence. That is not a correct view." The teacher (Nagarjuna).
