If you think this is a valid means of knowledge, that is also unreasonable. Even if offering produces a result, it will not lead to the cause and result being simultaneous, because at the moment when the result exists, the cause no longer exists. When the result comes into existence, the cause ceases, just like the two ends of a balance, how could they be simultaneous? Therefore, even if the cause remains, at that time the result has already been produced, so it is meaningless. Furthermore, for example, offering from something to nothing in the second moment will not be simultaneous with the thing, and the result is the same, so there is no contradiction. For example, shadows and the sun, and the flow of water, although the earlier and later flows of water are offered, they are not the same place, and this is the same here, so they will not be simultaneous. Furthermore, since it is not admitted to become a thing, the other argument is not established. Anything that has a result will not be produced, because production is meaningless. It is also not non-existent, because it would lead to rabbit horns and the like also being produced, so saying this is also unreasonable. If you deny the production of something that has a result, then you have neither an argument nor an example that is established for both of you, and if it is established, then you will violate your commitment to non-inherent existence. Even if the Samkhyas and others do not allow saying that the imputed result exists, what contradiction is there in the production of something without a result? Why should this be denied? It will also not lead to rabbit horns and the like also being produced, because they do not have such a cause, so they are not produced, but not because they do not exist. It will also not lead to everything being produced from everything, because the powers of the causes are determined separately, and they exist in a determined way. The determination of the powers of the causes must also be admitted, and if it is not so, then in conventional truth, why would it not lead to everything being produced from everything? Furthermore, if the discriminations of destruction and non-destruction, etc., harm the production of ultimate truth, then why would they not harm conventional truth?

Therefore, the realm of reason arising from the power of things should not be distinguished by the will of individuals. If someone says that reason is not applied to it because of fear of being harmed by direct perception, then this is not reason, because it is liable to be harmed. Those who think that it is unreasonable for one cause to produce many effects, and for many causes to produce one effect, are not reasonable. Otherwise, the difference of causes themselves would not cause difference. Therefore, many causes do not produce many effects. For example, if each effect is produced by all causes, then the difference of causes themselves would not cause difference, because many causes produce one effect. But if not every effect is produced by all causes, then how can many causes produce many effects? One cause does not produce one effect either, for example, from the senses such as the eyes arise their respective consciousnesses, if at that time a moment that is not common to its own kind does not arise, then everything will become blind and deaf things, that saying is also unreasonable. Because, for the time being, the statement of becoming blind and deaf things is not admitted, so it is impossible. Because everything arises only from the collection, there is not even a little bit of one arising from one. Because one arising from many and many arising from one become contradictory, even if one does not want the self-nature of the cause to transform and produce, but merely because lamps and the like have multiple self-natures, it is seen that the multiple self-natures of the result are produced. The difference of causes will not lead to the fault of not being different, because the difference of results arises from the difference of causes. The difference of results arises from the difference of causes, this itself is the difference of causes causing difference. If someone says that whatever is dependent origination, its self-nature is pacified, this is also uncertain, because dependent origination itself is not contradictory to having self-nature.
