Just as experiencing various things like trees, relying entirely on the falsity of appearances, in order to enter Suchness, and to be in accordance with entering the ultimate truth, the establishment of what is to be pervaded and what pervades is merely that. Similarly, the things of cause and effect, such as seeds and sprouts, are named only in reliance on the conventional truth, but not in the ultimate truth, because seeds and the like are not established in the ultimate truth, and because such falsities also appear in dreams and the like. Even when awake, it is seen that illusions and the like become causes and effects, but are not truly existent. Therefore, although things are pervaded by things such as cause and effect through the door of language, and possess their own nature, nevertheless, from that, they are not established as the nature of the ultimate truth, because the existence of what pervades does not necessarily establish what is to be pervaded. However, if what truly pervades the nature of things in relation to things, such as cause and effect, were to disappear, like illusions and the like, then the nature of those things would also be truly reversed and confused. Therefore, all these establishments of contradictions and the like, because they are able to enter Suchness, the wise ones, in order to show Suchness, and because the valid cognitions and the like that are conceived by non-Buddhists are said to be inconsistent with the pursuit of Suchness, they abandon them and compose treatises on the characteristics of correct valid cognition. Like some non-Buddhists, who want to establish that the self and other things are false Suchness, and want to eliminate the conventional establishments of omniscience, detachment, and the connection with karma and its results, they only do the opposite of the characteristics of valid cognition.

That is because the suchness of all kinds is the object of experience, and in reality, it alone does not deceive. Therefore, in terms of the suchness of all kinds, it is unerring. It itself does not deceive the suchness of all kinds, so in reality, it is unerring. Therefore, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, fully know all dharmas to be without characteristics. The wisdom of all aspects is not itself an entity either, that is also because it is included within all dharmas, therefore they manifestly and completely awaken to perfect enlightenment as without characteristics. As it is said in the noble Prajñāpāramitā Sutra, the characteristic of direct perception is the wisdom of all aspects, thus the Tathagatas manifestly and completely awaken to perfect enlightenment as without characteristics. Among these, the conventional truth of the object of direct perception, such as dreams, appears as false, but for whatever children impute as entities, such as the nature of ultimate truth, it is refuted by inference, but it does not harm the conventional truth such as what is seen. Therefore, whatever one is not mistaken about, that is direct perception, therefore inference does not harm it. Whatever is harmed by inference is the imputation of a true nature, etc., that is not what one is not mistaken about, therefore it is not an over-accusation of direct perception. Although inference obtains a connection from the direct perception of seeing this shore, it does not obtain the nature of ultimate truth. However, it is only conventional truth, because those who see the other shore do not personally experience the nature of entities, the real one, directly. Therefore, it does not harm even the conventional truth of the nature of things, but it only strives to establish it in order to eliminate the imputation of it as a true aspect. Therefore, for those who speak of things, for those arrogant ones who appear to have meaning in meaningless things, how can it be said that they abide well? On the other hand, if inference obtains a connection only from direct perception through the way of terms and obtains a dwelling, and two trees
