It is also unreasonable to say "it exists as a real entity," because in this way, knowing blue, etc., does not reside in the realm of the partless, which is not a distinction of sentient beings, and is devoid of various aspects. And since an image appears as a nature that does not agree with it, how can it be regarded as its nature and truly exist? As in your "Thirty Verses," etc., in order to establish the selflessness of persons, etc., whatever is the nature of the completely imputed is only false, like the son of a barren woman, etc. I and mine are also the nature of the completely imputed. In this way, by stating the reason of nature in the manner of establishing an example, why not also say that other phenomena imputed by others are not found? Just as the teachers say, why not say the characteristic of non-apprehension, which pervasively establishes the selflessness of all phenomena? Similarly, it will be explained below. If it is said that the non-apprehension of self-nature is impossible, this has already been answered above. If this method is that one is empty of the other, then this is not what we want to establish. What is it then? It is the emptiness of characteristics. If it is said that the perception of contradiction, etc., is impossible, etc., this is also irrelevant, because in this way, although all phenomena are peaceful and nothing is established as contradictory, etc., at the same time, nevertheless, in illusions and sky lotuses, etc., in general, selflessness itself and contradiction, etc., are completely established. If it were not so, how could you establish that the self-empowerment, etc., that is completely imputed by others is selfless? Therefore, in general, if contradiction, etc., are truly established in name only by mere selflessness, then later, for all phenomena, if the dharma of contradiction, etc., is considered and shown in the ultimate sense, what contradiction is there in establishing the selflessness of reality? It is unreasonable for contradiction, etc., itself to be necessarily real, because by the dharma of ultimate selflessness, the clear nature of the true object is nowhere

Because the self-nature of any object does not exist. However, if it did exist, then the contradiction of these things with it would not be established. Therefore, if all dharmas are truly established as without self-nature, then it should not be said that merely contradicting it becomes the thing itself. Contradictions, etc., are established only nominally, not truly. For example, when people determine that the characteristic of things like candles is not a constant self-nature, they determine that it is devoid of the aspect of constancy. If it is not distinguished, it is not appropriate to determine it. If something is determined without being distinguished, then the non-existent things are regarded as contradictions that exist mutually exclusively. Existence and non-existence, sequence and non-sequence, and other contradictions should also be viewed in the same way. Cold touch, etc., when the causes are not lacking, when approaching things like fire, they also disappear, so these two are regarded as contradictions of mutually exclusive characteristics. Even if the contradiction itself is established, candles, etc., cannot become real things, because illusory things also appear with phenomena such as arising and ceasing. The teachers, in order to enter the ultimate truth, also establish the contradictions of phenomena such as permanence and impermanence that appear in things such as candles as they are. The self-nature of external objects such as candles or the self-nature of consciousness is not truly established, because the self-nature of both is denied by themselves. If these things contradict the self-nature of the true thing, then those who realize the self-nature of the true thing will not enter the path of seeing even a little non-other thing. Any mutually exclusive contradiction is only conventional truth, because things are destroyed by themselves, not by others. If destruction is another thing, then the cause of destruction

It is also in order not to do anything at all. Even if the meaning has not changed, it will not be done by the factors of its destruction, because that is only produced from the factors of things. If one thinks that destruction is not a thing, therefore it is unreasonable to examine whether it is one with or other than things, then, at this time, this is even more not done by the factors of destruction, because there is no self-nature. Therefore, how can fire, etc., which does not do anything at all, be truly said to be contradictory? However, this fire is merely the nature of cold, etc., which is increasingly incapable, producing the excellent and most excellent moments, and only then is the name of contradiction applied to fire, etc. Therefore, the teachers say the reason for contradiction, but not contradiction itself. Therefore, this contradiction is also said only in reliance on nominal things, but not truly, because the nature of external objects such as fire and cold is not truly established, and also, the nature of the image of knowledge is examined. It is possible for one knowledge to appear as cold and heat, etc., so how can they be contradictory? Because the two are experienced separately at the same time. Many similar types of consciousness do not arise at the same time. Therefore, things such as cold are like dreams, etc., and only appear falsely, therefore, for these, there is no contradiction in reality. The pervader and the pervaded are also established only in reliance on nominal things such as wood and timber, through the general and specific things that are falsely posited, but in reality, the general thing such as wood itself, which will become the pervaded, does not exist at all. Those that have differences, etc., are also not the nature of external objects, and also, the nature of the image of knowledge is not truly established, however, the wise ones take an attitude of abandoning the meaning of suchness, like looking at an elephant, in dreams, etc., the appearance of false differences such as sandalwood
