It is like this. Mahamati, if asked how the world abides in existence, it is like this: the world arises from causes and conditions that are without cause, not from causes and conditions that are with cause. It is said to arise from existence, not from non-existence. Mahamati, when he speaks like this, things and causes and conditions, and the world, are also said to be existence without cause. Mahamati, if asked how it abides in non-existence, it is like this: having acknowledged desire, hatred, and delusion, one also imagines that desire, hatred, and delusion do not exist. Mahamati, what is the difference between not acknowledging things as existent because they are devoid of the characteristics of things, and the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas not acknowledging desire, hatred, and delusion? Mahamati, which one completely destroys? Mahamati asked: World Honored One, which one acknowledges desire, hatred, and delusion without acknowledging them? The World Honored One said: Mahamati, it is good, very good that you understand it in this way. Mahamati, this not only completely destroys desire, hatred, and delusion from the perspective of existence and non-existence, but also completely destroys Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Buddhas, and after speaking extensively in this way, Mahamati, I from here

Because it is devoid of the nature of complete imputation, seeing beings as completely separated. In order to closely say "is," there is no contradiction." Those who say these words must say what the nature of complete imputation is. If you say, "Even if it is harmed by measurement, it is also regarded as true by children." If that is the case, then for all beings, like illusions, not truly produced, children's clinging to birth etc. as truly existing, this is also the nature of being harmed by the measurement that will appear later, why not regard it as the nature of complete imputation? If it is not so, then the external object is also said by the Blessed One to be empty by the nature of complete imputation, why not separately say that it is not the ultimate truth? If you say, "Because it is harmed by measurement, it should not be separately said like that." Then, for consciousness, it should not be said like that either, because that is also like the external object, because it is harmed by measurement. If some measurement truly establishes that consciousness is truly existent, then at that time only two are completely imputed, not others, if it becomes good to separately say like this, then it should also be shown that that is not established either. Therefore, for beings, as previously said, being separated from the nature of complete imputation, we also think so, what about this? This negates what is said in the Holy *Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra*: "Maitreya, the characteristic of other-dependence and the characteristic of perfect accomplishment, with all defilement and purification, completely separated from the nature of complete imputation, that is not seen, this is the characteristic of all emptiness." Because for this, attachment etc. are truly the nature of other-dependence, the nature of all defilement, in conventional truth, the nature of all defilement, and the nature of all bondage to samsara, and the nature of obstructing antidotes, and the nature of not obstructing non-concordant qualities etc., whatever is truly augmented, for those are the characteristics of complete imputation.

Indeed, it is so. In the conventional truth of a yogi, it is perfectly established in a non-inverted manner, and because it is perfectly established, it is the characteristic of being perfectly established. Those who are purified in accordance with the aspects of enlightenment will certainly destroy the opposing factors, and whatever is truly attributed to the nature of things, such as truly uniting from nirvana, is the nature of imputation for them. Since it is impossible for the dharmadhatu to be naturally luminous and all-pervasively afflicted in the ultimate truth, both of these entities are also the dharma of the imputed nature, and it is impossible for all-pervasive afflictions and purified dharmas. All of these all-pervasive afflictions and purified dharmas are unborn in the ultimate truth, and because of their single essence, they should not be distinguished. Therefore, in reality, both are empty, and in the true conventional truth, both exist, so there is no fault of being without all-pervasive afflictions and purification. As it is said in the Two Thousand Five Hundred Verse Perfection of Wisdom: "Just as one is youthful by the power of intelligence, form is neither of the nature of desire nor of the nature of being without desire. Likewise, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are neither of the nature of desire nor of the nature of being without desire. The nature of form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness that is not desire and the nature that is not without desire is the Perfection of Wisdom. Likewise, form is neither of the nature of hatred nor of the nature of being without hatred; it is neither of the nature of delusion nor of the nature of being without delusion. Likewise, the nature of non-delusion and the nature of non-separation from delusion up to consciousness is the Perfection of Wisdom. Subduing with the power of intelligence, form does not become all-pervasively afflicted and purified. Likewise, feeling and
