Why does it happen that way? Therefore, relying on it, all practices of Paramita, because they arise from the inversion of self and what belongs to self, are weak in strength. Just as the Tirthikas, both external and internal, diligently engage in giving and discipline, etc., but because they arise from the view of the perishable aggregate, they cannot immediately transform into a limb of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, and are weak in strength. Similarly, those with objects are also weak in strength, because there is no difference from arising from inversion. Arising from not focusing on things, the fruit is great, because it arises from the cause of increase, like the sprouts, etc., of strong seeds. Because existence and what is to be known are unreasonable, in reality, what is to be known, etc., is not an object of focus. The cause of increase is because it is not inverted, like the observation of the selflessness of a person. Giving, etc., arising from that, because it is led by a cause with strength, it will be able to manifest and realize a very vast fruit, like the sprouts, etc., arising from a strong seed. This is said in the Sutra of the Collection of Righteousness, all dharmas are without characteristics, therefore consciousness does not enter into them. Again, in that same Sutra, it is said, "Bhagavan, not seeing all dharmas is true seeing." In the Mother of the Conquerors Sutra, it is also said: Subhuti, what do you think? Is it easy to measure the extent of the eastern sky? Subhuti replied: Bhagavan, it is not. From then on, the Blessed One said: Subhuti, similarly, the accumulation of merit of a Bodhisattva who gives without abiding in anything is also not easy to measure. Again, in that same Sutra, it is said: Subhuti, for example, a person with eyes enters into darkness and sees nothing. Similarly, a Bodhisattva who gives alms while clinging to things should be regarded in the same way. Subhuti, for example, when dawn breaks and the sun rises, a person with eyes can see various kinds of forms. Similarly, a Bodhisattva who gives alms without clinging to things should be regarded in the same way. Offerings and

Because one wishes to benefit, if one gives what is given with the three circles completely purified, then this will become a place of great faith for those who are wise. Like this, without any attachment, this is not inverted, and this is also the root of virtue without ignorance. It will also not excessively become merit and destruction and futile hardship, because when can the objects of cause and effect be reversed in the conventional? This has already been explained by the phrase "when can it be reversed in the conventional?" The so-called observation of all three is also only the conventional truth. One's own awareness also belongs to the conventional truth, because it cannot be analyzed into the nature of one and many, this has already been determined by the phrase "because it cannot be analyzed into the nature of one and many." Therefore, what has already been done will not be done again. Those who have promised to be the objects of cause and effect, in order to answer all the bad debaters, one should examine what those conventional objects that are considered to be are. Is it merely the nature of mind and mental factors? Why is it also the nature? To this, some rely on the later view, just as the scriptures say "only mind," this is to negate the agent and the profound meaning. Others think that the mind is also what becomes cause and effect, it is only knowledge, whatever is established by itself, that is what abides in knowledge. If one speaks of the nature of self-establishment, then there is no other nature of knowledge to be distinguished. The nature of self-establishment is also like the forms of dreams and illusions, etc. Those who think that forms, etc., exist externally, if they exist in a place separate from knowledge, then like the eyes, etc., in simultaneous or non-simultaneous times, because there is no very close cause, they cannot be cognized. Therefore, experiencing them is not experiencing different blue and blue, etc., appearances, because it is the nature of experience, just like experiencing the forms of dreams and illusions, etc. If one infers that there is another thing that generates the appearance of knowledge, separate from the result, then this is only inference, not direct perception. Even so, this is established without it, because there must be an immediately preceding cause, and the subtle particles, etc., are prevented. If one does this, it will become an ugly arrangement.
