The examination made by the Samkhyas and others, who say that the fruit exists beforehand, does not exist, is both, and is neither, is non-existent. Therefore, saying that all dharmas are without intrinsic nature is not a wrong view of the meaning of emptiness. For any side, existence, non-existence, existence and non-existence, non-existence and non-non-existence, to argue against it, one cannot exhaust it even for a long time. Therefore, in reality, no thing is established. Therefore, the Tathagatas say that all dharmas are unborn. In reality, even the subtlest atom should not be completely established, as explained, because it is separate from the nature of one and many. Therefore, in reality, where would there be birth, and the preceding dwelling, impermanence, and other dharmas of things that depend on it? Therefore, it is said in the teachings of Sagaramati: Those that are dependently arisen, they are not real. Those that are without essence, they do not arise anywhere. So it is said. It is also said in the Elephant Strength Sutra: If any dharma that is going to arise is not seen, then fools think that the unborn dharmas will arise. So it is said. It is also said in the Jewel Source Sutra: For one who has no intrinsic nature, how can other conditions change? For one who has no intrinsic nature, how can others produce? This reason is taught by the Sugata. So it is said. Therefore, in the Sutra of the Meeting of Father and Son, by entering into dependent arising, it shows entering into the Dharmadhatu, O Bhagavan, ignorance is not by ignorance itself. Why is that? Because ignorance is separate from intrinsic nature. Any dharma that has no intrinsic nature, that is no real thing. Anything that has no real thing, that is completely unestablished. Anything that is completely unestablished, that is unborn. Anything that is unborn, that is unceasing. Anything that is unborn and unceasing, cannot be called past, and the future and present cannot be spoken of. That which is not seen in the three times, that is without name, no
