If asked, "Is it exhausted now?" this indicates reliance on the fourth situation. And "It is not like that," etc., is refuting. Why? Because it has been stated that "all beings will become blind, deaf, etc." Because the eyes, etc., can generate a moment that is consistent with their own kind. And "not generating their own consciousness" is the remaining part. If that is the case, if there is no consciousness, then it will obviously become a blind person, a deaf person, unable to smell, unable to taste, and unable to feel touch. If it is admitted that it generates its own consciousness, then although there is no fault as mentioned before, there is another fault, so it is stated. If it is admitted that it generates its own consciousness, then it cuts off its own kind, that is, it cuts off the kind of eyes, etc., which is a summary word. Therefore, it is completely impossible to do so. Why? Because from the moment of consciousness onwards, there are neither eyes nor consciousness, so it is said that it is completely impossible. Although it is not admitted that one cause produces one effect, if there are a hundred, the other party will be completely desperate, so they will say that, and we think that this is hindering their understanding of the meaning of the words. If it is not like that, if it is not like that, then beings are both measurable and independent creators, then what contradiction is there in this? "Measurability itself, etc., will completely cease to exist," because if it is an independent creator, then beings are produced only from the immediate cause, so it is impossible to say that this is measurable. Because for things that exist simultaneously, complete judgment and things that completely judge are not allowed. Saying "etc." includes what is produced and what produces, etc. The so-called "acting in many ways" is explained by "not from self-arising, not from other-arising," etc. Similarly, if it is for those who refute birth and have the cause of establishing names such as "from self-arising, from other-arising," then this is the established establishing. If so, from where...
