Action has been spoken of. Why do many not make one? Thinking about this, it is said, "From those with different entities, such as the eye, etc." By mentioning "etc.," it includes form, appearance, attention, etc. The so-called "fruit not being different" is the acceptance that eye consciousness arises. Different causes do not transform into different ones. Why think about this? It is said, "Although they are different," even though the causes are different. The so-called "because there is no difference" refers to the fruit. Thus, the so-called "although there is no non-difference" refers to the cause. Because it has become non-different. The so-called "therefore" refers to the fruit. Thus, non-difference is the cause. Not transforming into non-difference is the fruit. If the difference and non-difference of the cause follow and transform, then the difference and non-difference of the fruit, etc., become possessed of a cause. Here, it is not like that, therefore the difference and non-difference of the fruit, etc., become without cause. If you say that difference and non-difference, etc., are without cause, then it is said, "Because there is no separation from that." Because everything is inseparable from difference and non-difference, everything becomes without cause. Thus, having become without cause, it becomes either eternally existent or non-existent. The so-called "everything" is the remainder. Why? Because it does not depend on other causes. If it depends, then things might possibly be temporary. If the producer of the fruit is an aggregate, then its following of difference and non-difference is clear, and because of its following and transformation, the fruit is not different, so how does it become without cause? This is not permissible, because from among the aggregates, there is no separation from the aggregates. Those are also mutually different and contradictory in nature, so they are only different. How can they produce a single non-different fruit? Why do the aggregates belonging to other aggregates produce that?
