In short, it should be universally applied. The apprehended and the apprehender are the nature of examination, and those two are also only those that appear manifestly. If it is said that the consciousness disturbed by ignorance realizes in that way, then who will prevent you from establishing a view that contradicts experience? Such a lack of understanding of self-nature will be abandoned far away by the world. If it is said that one sees in dreams and so on, if one does see, then even though seeing, you are also deluded by the evil attachment to appearances. Whatever appears as the aspect of the apprehended and the apprehender, is this the power of another? If it is truly of a nature devoid of these, how does it appear in that way? Although it may be allowed that it appears in that way because it is disturbed by ignorance, that is not its nature, because its nature is devoid of the two. Even so, because there is no connection, why do the two appear when it appears? If it is said that the connection has already been stated, if that is the case, who can refute the statement of other-powered nature? The other should also be regarded as the action of another, the reason lies only in this, and that is also present here, therefore there is no examination. If again, only consciousness is produced by causes and conditions, when it arises and is touched, why does it appear? If it is said that only consciousness appears in that way, then it has already been said that they only appear in the way they are produced. If it is said that it is produced only in that way, then it is not the nature of being devoid of the two, and this has already been said. Even if it is the nature of non-duality, it is not realized in that way due to the delusion of other consciousness, because the refutation and examination are the same. Therefore, this should be so. Some bad disputants say: Because things are not produced in reality, like the son of a barren woman, they are not produced even in conventionality. Whatever is the nature of not being produced in reality, those will not be produced even in conventionality, for example, the son of a barren woman and so on. These forms and so on are also the same. That is not reasonable, because worldly harm and so on exist, there is no need to establish this. If

Because the world is unborn, if you wish to say there is no harm, because there is no reason, etc., then what is to be established will not be accomplished. Because it contradicts your own words, if it is only one, then your uncertainty is difficult to reverse. If there is something that can accomplish it, it is not in the example either. If this cause is established for you, the established pervades it as well, then I have no fault there, how do you seek fault? If I establish it with valid cognition, it is established and pervades you, why do you, the wise one, attribute your own fault to me? If you say it is not established by valid cognition, because the birth of existence and non-existence is prevented, it has been repeatedly established. That pervasion is also what you said. My truly unborn and the conventional unborn are simultaneous, the nature of what is pervaded and what pervades is not established, if it is like that, you have a fault. Because of preventing true birth, truly saying there is no birth, observing non-birth is not like that, therefore these two are not my body. Truly saying the two are non-existent, why is it said that those who are free from elaboration are truly desired, therefore there are no limbs such as reason there. Like this, because these two are non-existent, there is no nature of cause and effect either, with this, even in the case of being too much, doubts can also be dispelled like this. The intermediate verses are finished. Also, if the conventional is not allowed, because of valid cognition. Those who are not valid cognition, because they are not to be taken. What harm is there to that logician? Because no one has ever prevented the things that come from reason from being led by thought. Because it was promised before, even though it is harmed by valid cognition, it cannot be abandoned, it is not reasonable to say so. For what reason, after promising the conventional, is it reasonable or unreasonable to think about this, it is not beautiful, therefore this was not promised before. Thinking like this, it is said: It is said that a promise should be made after observing with knowledge of reason, a promise is made after observation, it is not the case that observation is done after a promise, this meaning has been well observed in the determination of valid cognition, etc. If it is said that it contradicts direct perception, etc., how does the conventional appear?
