It is as I have said. If someone does not admit it, they will think that it contradicts direct perception and so on. If that is true, then it contradicts direct perception and so on. Is this just saying it? What is related to you but not influenced by you, except for you? If it does not make you afraid, is it because we are clearly saying that there is no self-nature, why should we be afraid? If valid cognition harms you, then it is the master of valid cognition. Then it becomes unreliable. The conventional is as it appears, and if valid cognition considers it unreliable, then it can only be said to be unreliable. If direct perception is harmed, then it is said that the master of valid cognition is unreliable. If something with characteristics is harmed, then ultimately the characteristics will be refuted. Therefore, everything or non-valid cognition will not change anything. Even so, it can only be thought that the conventional cannot be denied either. If someone does not want true reality, then what is there to say about the conventional? If names and so on do not exist, then is it not also different from other things? You and I, like the world, should also make statements. If that is the case, what is the benefit of you making statements? These are the intermediate verses. Therefore, whatever is the nature of appearance, that itself is not a negation. Whatever is experienced should not be negated. Because it would contradict direct perception. What is the aspect of arising and so on, is not appearance, and also, in terms of what is called truth and so on, negating the complete discriminations of others. Any form, etc., and the aspect that does not appear to the consciousness that has appearance, truly arising and consciousness appearing, and relying on treatises, etc., the subject and complete transformation, etc., that are completely discriminated, only these are prevented. Preventing these, direct perception, etc., will not cause harm. Saying "etc." is to include existence itself, etc. Therefore, here only such discriminations should be negated. Because there is no fault as mentioned above. Negating non-discrimination will only harm me. Not being contaminated by the fault of discrimination of the body, etc., the freedom of others.

Merely appearing as the nature of consciousness alone, it is not only impossible to refute. If it is refuted, it will only cause harm to the author through direct perception and so on. That which appears as discrimination, the cause of real things such as the chief substance, that which is observed by others, that will be refuted. In refuting the observed things, the so-called "real" is not a difference that is being refuted, therefore, how can the conventional not exist? These are the intermediate verses. Therefore, it is also said in the sutra: "The observed things do not exist, other's freedom does exist, at the end of addition and slander, discrimination will be destroyed. All dharmas are observed, not born of self-nature. People rely on other's freedom, thereby generating discrimination." After doing so, as it is said in the Diamond Sutra: "Subhuti, form is the self-nature of non-form." and so on, extensively. Venerable Shariputra, thus, form is empty of self-nature. Any thing that is empty of self-nature is without birth and without destruction. Any thing that is without birth and without destruction will not appear as change. From the feeling aggregate to the consciousness aggregate, it is also the same." and so on, extensively, this is also established. If things only exist as they appear, then how are karma and its results? In the eyes of the beholder: How karma and its results appear, thus he speaks, therefore, everything remains as it appears. The Teacher's vision, possessing unobstructed appearance, with the nature of knowing, how karma and its results appear differently, in order to benefit beings, the one with the nature of compassion, explained the differences in detail. Because that is so, everything that has not become an object of the senses also remains only as it appears. The one with the nature of compassion, seeing beings bound by discrimination, with the differences of mind-only and so on, showed the method of liberation from bondage. The Bhagavan, knowing karma and its results, with the body of the nature of compassion, seeing beings in the prison of samsara bound by the iron chains of discrimination, as they think
