Because there is no earth, birth, etc., it is no different from nirvana. Like this, because of not knowing the suchness, if one is attached to falsehood, it is said that one makes oneself suffer. Like this, through the path that is spoken, for all that is without self-nature, what is obtained from anything? Who loses to whom of anything? Who makes offerings or completely despises whom, and who will do it back to whom? Because things have no self-nature, from where does happiness come? From where does suffering come? Because there is no cause for happiness and suffering. What is one happy about, what is one unhappy about, and what does one strive for in order to meet and separate from? What is desire, what is one attached to? Seeking samsara with what, that is merely ignorance, which is without self-nature. If one examines, what is the living world? Because it is not there. Who will die here? Who has come into being? Who will come into being? Because the past etc. are interdependent. Who are relatives and friends of whom? From where do non-virtue and the death of existence arise? All are like the sky, appearing in the wisdom of yogis arising from the ultimate of the distinction of familiarizing with the meaning of truth. Therefore, like me, others should also take the suchness without doubt. Because of not knowing, children delight in the cause of fighting, in the cause of extreme confusion. With sorrow, fatigue, laziness, mutually cutting and piercing, etc., those who desire their own happiness live with great hardship. Like this, having committed evil deeds with hatred and desire etc., after dying, they fall into the bad, painful lower realms for a long time. When karma is exhausted, they come to the good realms again and again, and after experiencing much happiness. For desire, form, and formless existence, various kinds of oppression arise, because of the power of not knowing. In that existence, things like form etc. that are not it confuse people, and for that purpose, contradictions arise between each other, because of not realizing the suchness that is free from the four extremes. There, there is also an unparalleled and unbearable ocean of suffering, without end. There, effort is so small, and there, life is also so short. Actions that benefit the living and the healthy, and fatigue from hunger and thirst, sleep, and inner and outer

One should not spend time meaninglessly by harming others or associating with children. Therefore, life passes quickly without meaning, and wisdom free from attachment is extremely difficult to obtain. Even if one is free from attachment, it is difficult to prevent distraction, the enemy of meditation. On top of that, demons strive to make one fall into the great lower realms. There, due to many wrong paths such as the Jangpenpa and speculators, it is difficult to dispel doubt. Thus, after death, it is extremely difficult to obtain leisure and endowment again, and it is even more difficult to obtain the appearance of a Buddha, and it is difficult to stem the river of the multitude of afflictions such as desire. Therefore, alas, suffering will continue. Even if one is liberated from one, one will fall into another. Again, it is described painfully with the suffering of others. In this way, the order of speaking, because one does not understand benefit and harm, one is completely tormented from above and above, and dwells in the river of suffering. Blinded by ignorance, one does not see one's own suffering, which is truly pitiable and lamentable. An example is given: Just as some foolish people, after repeatedly bathing, suffer from the cold, and enter the fire again and again, so too these beings, although seized by the burning fire of suffering, remain as if they think themselves happy. It is said that one does not see one's own heedlessness. Thus and so on. For those who act freely like a game without death and old age, terrible, incurable, death-preceding, unbearable things such as old age and sickness will come. As it is said in the Sutra of Advice to the King: Four mountains coming from four directions, without gaps, hard and touching the sky, the land is plowed and coming, it is not easy to run away trying to escape. Similarly, these four: old age, sickness, suffering, and death, will come destroying youth, health, perfection, and the living. Thus and so on. In order to pacify those sufferings, prayers are made. Thus and so on. There is not only suffering, to illustrate for those who are tormented: merit alone is like a cloud, which eliminates torment. From that which arises, my, with the implements of gods, clothing and food, etc., when will I attain peace? Having explained higher rebirth, one will definitely
