That which abides unequally is called "chief." Unequal strength, etc., is called "going." When the person desires to enjoy the realm, at that time the chief joins with the person. Again, it completely transforms into sound, etc. The order is, from the chief arises intellect, from that arises ego, from that arises sixteen, the five senses are: ear, touch, eye, tongue, nose. The five action senses are speech, hand, foot, excretory passage, and organ. And mind, making eleven. The five tanmatras are sound, touch, form, taste, and smell. From the five, sound, etc., arise space, wind, fire, water, and earth. The chief is the cause, not the effect. Intellect, ego, and the five, sound, etc., are both effect and cause. The eleven senses and space, etc., are only effects, not causes. The person is neither effect nor cause. Why is it said? "The nature of action has no change, the nature of greatness, etc., changes seven, the aspects of transformation are sixteen, the person is not the chief of change." So it is said. That is like a painting without a base, knowing this, it is said by the respondent, one, etc. The chief is singular, because of the difference of strength, dust, and darkness, it should not have three natures, therefore the chief does not exist. Therefore, all its effects also do not exist. For a moment, if it is said that qualities exist, it is said: Thus, like the chief, the qualities of strength, etc., also do not exist. Why? Because each of those is a threefold quality. Going is the nature of threefold qualities, this is the tenet. Each is also a threefold quality, therefore it is not one nature. If strength, etc., qualities do not exist, by analysis, the sound, etc., produced by it will also exist for a long time. Because without a cause, there is no effect. What is said: "Constant happiness, etc., is not mind, this is clearly seen as true, faith and compassion and stinginess, as it should be, are the objects here." That is also unreasonable, because inanimate objects without mind, such as clothes, etc., cannot have the nature of happiness, etc., of the mind. Why? Because only strength, dust, and darkness are happiness and suffering.

That is because of ignorance. Those qualities arise from the mind, so they are not on clothes, etc. How can happiness, etc., arise from that? Because it is the nature of happiness, etc., so clothes, etc., are not the essence of happiness, etc., but if it is said to arise from that. Answer: The cause of happiness, etc., the objects of clothes, etc., should also be examined. Those are neither with limbs, nor the nature of atoms, nor the third quality, because they should be examined. Appearances are also without nature. If it is the nature of clarity, happiness, etc., then it is said that only clothes, etc., can generate happiness, etc. That is your etcetera. Even so, clothes, etc., and the sound of etc., sandalwood, etc., will not arise from that. Happiness, etc., also arise on clothes, etc., and there is no happiness, etc., on clothes, etc. Because of following its following and opposing, happiness, etc., is its result. Because it is the nature of courage, etc., qualities. Therefore, whoever thinks that happiness, etc., is permanent, that is not permanent, happiness and suffering and ignorance are never seen as permanent. Because there are no qualities. If happiness, etc., is permanent, then it should always be seen at that time, happiness, etc. Because it has not abandoned its nature. If it is said that it is not seen because it disappears in an unclear way. Answer: If happiness, etc., clarity itself once becomes permanent, then why does experiencing happiness not always happen? If it becomes clear but is not seen. Become subtle Like stars in the daytime. That is not true, because how can the gross nature become subtle and unclear? Because it is permanent. One way is unreasonable. Abandoning the gross and clear things and becoming subtle and unclear, then the gross and subtle will become impermanent. Because of arising and ceasing. If it is impermanent, then what? Answer: Why don't you think that all twenty-five truths are impermanent like gross and subtle? Also, is this gross different from happiness, etc., or not different? If different, then at that time if it disappears, happiness as before

Will experience suffering. Just as a vase is not visible when clothes are turned inside out. If it is not other, then it is said to him: If grossness is not other than happiness, then, because it is only happiness, what is manifest on happiness is impermanence itself. Because grossness, old age, and happiness also change. If it ceases completely, then happiness will not arise again. Because something that does not exist at all, like space, cannot arise. If nothing arises, then whatever does not exist in any way does not arise. For example, like a flower in the sky. Furthermore, if it is so, if you think why it does not exist, then it is said here: There is no clarity in the state of not being clear before. Later, it arises clearly, even if you do not want it, it will exist. Otherwise, it would have been seen before. There is another fault: If the fruit exists in the cause, then eating food will also become eating impure things. Because the fruit of food, impure things, also exists in the state of food. Furthermore, because there are clothes in cotton seeds that will arise, buy cotton seeds with the price of clothes and wear them. If the world does not see the fruit in the cause because the nature of darkness is unreasonable, then, know that, and that will be seen. That is impossible. Just like knowing the number, this is also a worldly saying. Even if you want to see eating food and clothes, you will not buy cotton seeds. Who can realize that the fruit exists in the cause? Because this knowledge also exists in worldly people. Just like knowing that, why do worldly people not see it? If what is seen by the world is not valid, then the respondent says, if the world is not all, then, what he clearly sees is also not true, this is what the Madhyamikas admit. The other party says: If the measure is not a measure in the ultimate sense, then, will what it measures not become false? Why is that? Answer: In the ultimate sense, emptiness, which is without self-nature, what is the definite measure, that will also not exist. The answer is: The object observed by discrimination, without observing, does not grasp it as non-existent. Observing a vase in a place, one will realize that there is no vase. According to the observation known to the world, there is no shape of a vase there. Therefore, because the object observed is not established, it is non-existent. Therefore, whatever is a false object is non-existent.
