Because all beings cannot directly perceive the difference of that invisible thing. Through direct perception and invisibility, all things have various causes and appear in various ways. If it exists, the result arises; if it does not exist, the result does not arise, so it can be determined that it is the cause. The differences in petals, fruits, stamens, etc., referred to by words such as lotus and tree, arise from the difference of causes. Otherwise, everything would arise from everything. Therefore, a definite result arises from a definite cause. If this difference of cause is established, then the difference of result will arise. If you ask, where does this difference of cause come from? The answer is, from the difference of the previous cause. From the difference of the cause that produces it. If you ask, where does the difference of that cause come from? Here it should be said that it comes from the difference of the previous cause. There will also be no fault of infinite regress, because samsara is considered to be without beginning or end. The concomitance and contraposition of cause and effect have been established: what is not produced from other things will not exist there; nor does it come from other places. If it exists, the result arises; if it does not exist, nothing will arise. That's how it is said. Therefore, there will be no confusion about the result, because the cause is certain for what kind of result difference arises from what cause. It comes from the power of the previous cause that produces it. One's own cause produces that nature in that way. If there is no harm, such a result will arise. Furthermore, if the outsiders say that these things have no cause, and with reason, then they will destroy their own vows. If they do not put forward that reason, then it is meaningless to put forward only the vow. Cause and effect are established, therefore the afterlife and liberation are also established. After refuting the outsiders, it is explained to refute the view of considering Ishvara as the cause, that is, Ishvara, etc. Logicians and others say: Blessed One, there is an Ishvara who is skilled in creating various beings, constantly has undiminished power, is the first, permanent, and omniscient. He is the creator of beings with causes. Body and realms, mountains and oceans, etc., are the cause of creation, existence, and destruction by the Great Ishvara. The respondent says: First, please tell me what Ishvara is? Result
