Then, does the practice of Bodhi also have boundless suffering? The answer is: Compared to the suffering of practice, the suffering of those with desire is greater, and even if they don't want it, many situations will arise. Bodhisattvas willingly endure suffering for the benefit of others at a certain time, but the cause of Bodhi arising is not present in those with desire, only suffering arises. The ripening of desire is the harm of hells, etc., and the harm of swords, etc., heard from the scriptures is well known and cannot be compared. Swords, etc., can only kill once, but desire causes suffering in many rebirths. Therefore, through the above reasoning, generate aversion to the five qualities of desire, and examine how long the field of practice lasts, and attachment to it will arise, because the mind only arises when there is an object, and it is impossible without an object. Therefore, one should generate stable joy that is free from all conceptual thoughts and empty of all objects. Where to live? Live in a peaceful forest where there is no discord, no disputes or fatigue, no sentient beings and is quiet, and there are no yakshas, tigers, snakes, thieves, etc. The benefits of meditation are explained, such as "Fortunate" etc. There are three types of meditation: the preliminary practice such as "After such diligence", the main practice such as "After generating aversion to desire", and the benefits such as "Fortunate". Moonlight itself is white and cool, so it is sandalwood, and therefore feels cool. Like a palace, it is spacious and not rough, so the pleasant stone slabs, etc., are soundless because they have merit, are soft, are swayed by the forest wind, and can be walked not too far away, so it is a stroll. Having attained the first dhyana etc., one generates the mind for the benefit of sentient beings who have fallen into the darkness of ignorance. Here, because there is no discord, it is more superior than the happiness of the throne. Live in any place such as an empty house, under a tree, or in a mountain cave, etc., as long as you can obtain the solitude of body and mind, be free from attachment to the five desires and the suffering of guarding them, be independent, and practice as you wish. One's own wishes

Behaving unlike a householder, associating with kings or ministers, returning home upon seeing faults, focusing on the Dharma-nature of limitless qualities, enjoying the bliss of contentment, it is difficult for the senses to attain due to attachment to the world. By cultivating the qualities of solitude through the stages of explanation, the conceptualizations of afflictions and near afflictions are pacified. It is not merely cultivating a fondness for solitude alone, as it would become indistinguishable from a Shravaka. However, one should cultivate the mind of Bodhichitta. This is the Dharma-nature, for those with reason, after realizing the Dharma-nature, it is said that compassion arises for sentient beings, such as "I" and so on. Whatever clings to self is the cause of Samsara, and that is also the cause of the Bodhisattva's Bodhi, because it is the antidote to the clinging to self, and it is the cause of completely embracing all sentient beings. Pride is as previously explained. Through the equality of self and others, protecting others as one protects oneself, thus clinging to everything as self, it becomes a great self-clinging. Initially, it is about explaining the exchange of self and others. Effort is obvious. The equality of happiness and suffering, that is, for me, there is no difference between these, just as suffering harms me, it also harms these. Just as happiness follows me, it also follows these. Therefore, protecting everything as one protects oneself, just as relying on the antidote to one's own suffering, so too for others. Just as making oneself happy, so too making others happy. What is the reasoning here? It is said: For example, hands and so on. Although there are differences such as hands and feet, just as one clings to and protects a single body, although beings are different, the nature of happiness and suffering, just as one does not want suffering, so too others. Just as one likes happiness, so too others, therefore, for the differences of caste, birthplace, and race, all should be especially regarded as one and protected. If it is one, why does one's suffering not harm another? It is said: My suffering does not harm another's body, it is suffering, but only I cannot bear it, that is because of clinging to self. Otherwise, the suffering of the foot
