Because I generate the mind of enlightenment with the desire to make all sentient beings possess all happiness. Now, with a mind separated from the object of faith, why are you angry with sentient beings who have the happiness that you yourself have obtained? It is unreasonable to say that you do not want gain, etc. Abiding in the three realms of desire, form, and formlessness, the Buddha himself, who is the object of offering, seeing only the evil intentions of serving sentient beings, why do you grieve for that? Thinking of gain, it is said: What you are to nourish, who will nourish your own son, etc.? That is given only to you, hearing that your relatives are being nourished, but instead of being happy, you are angry, why is that? If you only want enlightenment, then say: Why does the one who wants the enlightenment of sentient beings not want their perfection? Where is the mind of enlightenment in a person who is angry at the perfection of others? If you say that such gain is not mine, then say: If that is not obtained by the person you do not want, and only abides in the house of that patron, then what does it matter to you whether you give it to him or not? In any case, you do not have that, so it is meaningless to be unable to bear it, think for a moment, who do people make offerings to, that is in the aspect of giving the fruit of one's own merit.
