Ga. By what Bodhicitta ritual is it fully grasped? It is also mentioned in the scriptures that are being taught, hence the explanation of the chapter on fully grasping Bodhicitta is called "Clarifying the Differences." Among them, the third chapter is explained. Since practice is the main thing and Bodhi arises from it, practice is explained. Thus, after it is explained, one should firmly hold onto the Bodhicitta, and in order not to transgress its precepts, one should be diligent, the Bodhisattva without laziness. In the teachings of the noble Gaya Magori, it is said that practice is the most important. The precepts are the nature of skillful means and wisdom. Wisdom is established in this, the five perfections such as generosity, and the four objects of gathering, especially purifying the fields, great enjoyment, perfect retinue, maturing sentient beings, and the cause of higher rebirths such as manifestations are skillful means. Wisdom is the cause of understanding their nature. Among them, one first practices on the path of accumulation, its characteristics are: the vows of individual liberation, guarding the senses from objects, knowing the amount of food, before and after the night, practicing virtue with mindfulness, conduct such as hearing and thinking, gathering is the worldly path. It is explained how to practice after generating Bodhicitta. Rashness is joy, and one does not carefully examine what one has done, and doubts arise whether to do it or not. This is not the case, in the Miscellaneous Sutras, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the great wise ones such as Maitreya, in the Adornment of Trees Sutra, it is said: Just as a king or minister has the ability, so do I, and I should not delay what I have carefully examined. If one does not make a vow to liberate those who have not been liberated, and does not accomplish it with the work of vows, then at that time all of them will be deceived, and what other place will I go to besides hell? There is none. In the Sutra Requested by Sagaramati, it is said: Just as a king or great official announces to the people of a town that there will be a banquet tomorrow, if they deceive them without making preparations, so too, the Bodhisattva makes a vow in front of all sentient beings, with much learning and

If one does not strive for enlightenment, one will deceive the world, including the gods, and so on. Thinking that even a little something should be given as charity, it is said in the scriptures that those who do not give will become hungry ghosts in the next life. In order to bestow the bliss of the supreme Buddha, one proclaims with great faith in front of the Buddha and others with a loud voice, but if this is not accomplished, how can all beings go to the happy realms when they are all fighting with each other? This is also explained in the Sutra on the Establishment of Mindfulness of the Sacred Dharma. It is also said in the Sutra of the Collection of Dharma Verses that Bodhisattvas prioritize truth, and so on. The unique power of generating the mind of enlightenment is explained, the Bhagavan knows all things in all aspects, only he knows the inconceivable nature of karma, and in front of all the Buddhas, even if one completely abandons the mind of generating enlightenment, one can only liberate the sentient beings who were previously vowed from the suffering of samsara. If one asks if this is contradictory, it is because the mind of enlightenment is said to be the cause of enlightenment. If there is no seed, the tree of enlightenment cannot grow, so how can its fruit liberate sentient beings? The answer to this is that there are two types of bodhicitta: conventional bodhicitta and ultimate bodhicitta. Among them, the conventional bodhicitta spoken by the noble Maitreya: For the sake of others, one desires perfect enlightenment. It is possible to abandon it, because one turns away upon seeing the evil deeds of sentient beings. For example, when Shariputra had his right hand raised by a demon, he cut it off and gave with his left hand, seeing that he did not accept it, saying that the left hand was unclean, I do not accept it, which is unreasonable. If one thinks that one cannot satisfy sentient beings, then that is abandoning bodhicitta. The mind of enlightenment is the nature of realizing the two selflessnesses after seeing the ultimate truth. It is said in the fourth section of the fifth chapter of the Ornament of Clear Realization: Fortunate disciples receive good teachings, in enlightenment is the ultimate mind, again arising from the lama, taking flowers with folded hands. The aggregates, elements, realms, objects, etc. that are separate from all things.
