Thus. And how is that? Whatever is the song of praise, radiant and adorning all directions, pleasing, I will offer to the nature of loving-kindness towards all sentient beings. After that, in order to cool the upper part, the umbrella is explained: Made of precious jewels, the umbrella that protects from the heat of the sun, extremely beautiful, with strings of pearls hanging at the edges in nets and half-nets. The golden, pleasing handle stands upright, to be held by the Thus-Gone Ones. In order to increase devotion to the place by performing various offerings: To the non-place, the All-Pervading One, the king of the non-gods called Bhala, after offering all the land, was imprisoned inside Mount Sumeru in the earth. Bhala (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) is the benefactor, the object of offering is the All-Pervading One, the object of giving is the land, at the time of the horse sacrifice, being imprisoned inside Mount Sumeru is the result, observe the difference between the Victorious One and the heretics! When walking on the path, the clouds of offerings made by the gods and others will follow. How is that? The clouds of song, music, and dance are pleasing, bringing joy to all sentient beings, and thus seeing the Victorious One brings joy. For those who wish to depart, after allowing them to depart, those who remain explain the offerings: The twelve scriptures, the Dharma Jewel, and the stupas of the Victorious Ones, and the statues of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, offering various flowers, and rains of powders of the seven jewels, and the powders of sandalwood included in the word "etc.", and rains of clothing, etc., may they be continuous. Contemplating the objects of offering, etc., and making offerings, how can it become the unsurpassed means due to impurity? It is explained that just as Manjushri and others realize the nature of reality, with the joy of knowing, offering to the Victorious Ones, so too will I offer to the Thus-Gone Ones and their sons. The praise is explained, the tones are: the seven, such as Nishada, their distinctions are Kamoda, etc. Because they are many, they are like the ocean, one should praise their inexhaustible qualities. May the clouds of the tones of praise arise as they truly are. This ritual of praise should also be known from the King of the Three Samayas. After the praise is completed...

The explanation of prostration is: With prostrations equal to the number of atoms in the realms abiding in the ten directions, I prostrate to the Buddhas, Dharma, and Sangha of the past, present, and future in the ten directions. After the Blessed One passed into nirvana, the relics that appeared from the cremation pyre were initially built into stupas. Later, they also appeared in other places. All of these things that abide above, below, and in all directions, and the basis of Bodhisattvas, which are the places of birth spoken of in the Jataka tales and so forth, and the Khenpos and ascetics, I prostrate to them all. After prostrating, the uncommon cause of generating the mind of enlightenment, which is taking refuge, is explained. That is, I go for refuge to the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha of Bodhisattvas. Taking refuge is becoming the gateway to vows, because it points out the path of fearlessness. If one does not commit to the Buddha as the teacher, one will not have faith in his teachings. Committing to manifest the ultimate Dharma that completely pacifies all suffering, is for the sake of subsequently entering into accomplishment. Committing to rely on the irreversible Sangha of Bodhisattvas, who are the guides to the place of fearlessness. If not, how would one learn from them? Maitreya said: The Buddha himself is the protector, from all collections of afflictions, all misdeeds and old age and death, the harm of the wrong path and bad destinies, the inferior vehicle and samsara. Therefore, refuge is unsurpassed. The essence is the meaning of becoming the most important, from today until enlightenment is attained, one should protect in a way that the three circles are without inherent existence. After taking refuge, the confession of sins is explained. The Buddhas are the manifest eyes, the teachings are also good at protecting, everything is his presence, I am standing in front of them. Thinking in this way, joining the palms is the physical expression. Clarity is the verbal expression. These two show extreme reverence to the Buddha and so forth. What is requested? It is said: From that which has no beginning, that is, in this beginningless samsara and birth, not knowing what should be done and what should not be done, like a livestock, I..., this is self-condemnation. What is done is by oneself...
