If there is no knowledge or wisdom, how can there be terms like "I saw this, I heard this, I know this"? Therefore, it is said "how" and so on. The terms such as seeing are not to be denied in this world. However, what is to be denied here is the clinging to things that cause all the suffering of samsara as real, which is what is falsely attributed by the great demon, and there is no fault in denying this. Furthermore, what you said, "If there is no delusion," etc., should also be said to that, when you think that there are no illusions, etc., different from consciousness, because there is no difference of illusions, etc., in consciousness, and there is no non-difference, then there is no opportunity for argument. If you say that this argument arises in reliance on what others have admitted, that is not the case, because all dharmas should also be admitted to be without self-nature, so this view is not correct either. If illusion is real, then if illusion is real, how can it not be other than mind? It is inherently not other than mind. If you say it is not other than mind, that is, illusion is not different from mind, then at that time the two are one, and the mind becomes non-existent. Therefore, since illusion does not exist in reality either, this becomes like a dance in the dark. If one thinks that even if there is no untrue appearance that is grasped as that alone, the world still sees illusion, then at that time it should be inferred that the mind that grasps also does not exist, and therefore it will fall into the same fault. If it is said that samsara is substantially dependent, it means that samsara exists in dependence on the mind, therefore the mind exists. Therefore, this is the basis of the characteristic of mind, because there is a basis, so the word "substantially dependent" is combined. The so-called "that is other" and so on is the statement of the established tenet. What is thought here is that if only mind exists, and thus becomes the basis of samsara, then when mind does not exist, samsara becomes without a basis.

Because it is non-existent like the sky, therefore, it is done that the dependent and the dependence are non-existent. If that is the case, if the cycle of things by their own nature does not exist, then what fault is there in this? (Answer:) "The unreal depends on the real," it is said. For what, the cycle without self-nature, that unreal thing, depends on the thing of the mind, then how can it have function? If it changes like that, then "your mind is without friends," that is, separated from the friends of the cycle with limbs, not corresponding to existence and peace, this mind will exist alone. If that is the case, then here, in all cases, at all times, the mind that is separated from all grasping and being grasped exists alone, therefore all sentient beings have attained the state of Buddhahood from beginningless time, therefore they are liberated now, who can stop it? If the ultimate truth is like that, then "even so," etc., it is said. Now there is a mind separated from the appearance of grasping and being grasped, and because it has all the arising afflictions, then what more excellent qualities are there? Therefore, all the troubles of the mind's discrimination become the only result. Again, "other illusions," etc. After understanding all dharmas as illusions, how can afflictions be stopped? For example, when the illusionist himself transforms an illusory woman with medicine and mantras, etc., the performer himself will also develop attachment to her, so how can you stop the cycle? The answer to this is: "That performer," etc. That performer is the one who transforms the illusory woman. Because still now focusing on the wheel of knowable objects, not abandoning the habits of all the afflictions such as attachment, so when seeing her, that is, when experiencing the knowable objects such as the woman's body, because the habit of emptiness is weak, attachment etc. will arise. Also, when that habit arises by the power of familiarizing with emptiness, then the habit of real things can be abandoned. When the familiarization is clear,
