This (example) is also to be refuted. Here, the Yogacara school's view is further explained, i.e., "like crystal" etc. For example, just as a crystal ball appears blue or red depending on the objects it is near. Similarly, a blue object itself does not need to be near anything to appear blue. Therefore, in essence, it does not depend on other things. Similarly, a lamp is also like that. Therefore, after determining its own cause in this way, some things, such as a vase, etc., are dependent on others, i.e., they depend on the light of the lamp for their own clarity. And some things are not dependent on others, i.e., the lamp itself. So, if this example holds, then this is also unreasonable now. What is said as "non-blue" etc. is what it means. If we ourselves are proven to be non-entities, then we would not say that a blue object depends on other things and transforms it into its own entity. Then what is it? We would say that because it is born blue from its own cause, it is dependent on other things. Similarly, if the lamp does not depend on the cause in generating its own nature of clarity, then it would become causeless. If this can prove that it is dependent on other things, then it is not independent. If it is said that the entity itself depends on the cause, but the clarity does not, that is not right, because clarity is inseparable from it. However, if the clarity has already arisen, does it not depend on other things either? This is unreasonable. Just like wool has already been produced, but it still needs to depend on other things to become wool, who would say that? Therefore, this is unreasonable. Furthermore, saying that the lamp illuminates things, this can be understood for the moment as knowing through the knower. But if it is said that it illuminates wisdom, then through what is it known? This is unknown. Like this, it is neither an object to be known nor a subject that knows. Because knowing knowledge through knowledge is also empty of other knowing subjects, this is the view of this school. "When" etc. is the conclusion.

Like the coquettishness of a young girl. What does this reveal? It reveals that because it has not arisen from the very beginning, the mind is peaceful from the very beginning. If "if" and so on are the views of others, is it because of the reason that memory arises from experience? The answer to this is: "In the experience of others" and so on. Because it is associated with the image of the meaning that has been previously experienced, the consciousness with the image of meaning, later and later, arises one after another with different degrees of difference. Because whoever, even without self-awareness, is only able to comprehend and has various abilities. Then, what contradiction is there in saying that memory arises just like it has been experienced? If it is said that there is such a view? The answer is: "Like the poison of a mouse" it is said. For example, the poison of a mouse enters the body at some time, but as time passes, its power awakens. Just like it has no self-awareness at all. "Because it has other causes and conditions" and so on are said, it is the view of others. Thinking like this, even scholars and so on can understand the minds of others. Therefore, because it is seen that those who understand the minds of others have other causes and conditions that act together with consciousness and so on, the understanding of the minds of others arises. If it is said that "self" is very clear self-awareness, then the conclusion that is said is "accomplished eye medicine" and so on. If it is said that by manifesting others, oneself becomes very clear, then by applying accomplished eye medicine, because after applying accomplished eye medicine, one can see the vase, the eye medicine will also become the vase. Because by its power one can recognize it as such, it is too much. What is thought here is: if by the power of manifesting the object, the dharma of the object is applied to it, then at this time, which eye medicine can manifest the vase of treasure, in the place where it is seen, what is the object vase itself, will also be applied to the eye medicine. Therefore, the eye medicine will also become the vase, and will depend on the name of the vase. Furthermore, due to the special attachment of not deceiving, just like a mirror recognizes the face, it will become a confused difference, what is this? If it is said that
