Thinking that this can refute the self. Therefore, it is said, "If," if the consciousness of sound is the self, then it is also permanent, and in that case, all the time it will hold sound, because the object of the permanent consciousness, sound, also does not exist. If it is thought that sound is not permanent, but only consciousness is permanent, therefore it will not always hold, therefore it is said, "By what." By what means is the so-called consciousness expressed, if there is no sound, etc., what is it? In order to show this, it is said, "If there is no consciousness," etc. Furthermore, in various ways it is said that the one self that holds sound does not hold form, etc., at that time. Therefore, it is said, "Therefore." If it is said that the consciousness of sound also holds form, the proponent says, "At that time," at the time of holding form, why does it not hold sound? Because it is the consciousness of sound. If it is said that because sound is not nearby, it does not hold, alas, if that is the case, then that consciousness, that consciousness of sound, also does not exist. Furthermore, sound holding, etc. Is it not possible that the same person is a father to some and a son to others? If you think so, the proponent says, "Father and," for others, the meaning examined depends on whether it can be established, here is the occasion to commit to the nature of the ultimate truth. In order to say that this is not the ultimate truth, it is said, "Courage," courage is happiness, dust is suffering, darkness is ignorance, the Samkhya school says this, the three qualities of the state of the son are the same in the state of the father, because there is no difference, so it is only an examination, not the ultimate truth. Furthermore, sound holding, etc., if at the time of holding form, the consciousness with the nature of holding sound also exists, then it should be observed in the same way, but in fact it is not observed, therefore it can be determined that that nature does not exist. Is the consciousness of form produced from outside the consciousness of sound? For example, a dancer

If it is said that the one nature itself, with another nature, sometimes appears as the form of Arjuna. The practitioner says: That is also impermanent, because the dancer is also impermanent and unstable, because he abandons one form and takes another. If it is said that one does not have two natures, but the one dancer comes in the manner of nature. The answer is: The unprecedented and wonderful dancer appears. If it is said, "It is also that," that is indeed a true statement. However, if "It is also that" in another way, then the two mutually contradictory natures do not exist, then by what does the oneness called "one" exist? If it is thought that distinguishing other objects from the self of the nature of wisdom, like a blue crystal, is not true. The answer is: The original nature of that is spoken of. If it is thought that even though objects, forms, etc., are different, knowledge itself becomes the only ultimate truth, then that is the only one that exists. The answer is: Therefore it is said. If that is the case, then all beings will become the nature of one self, because knowledge is common to all. Furthermore, if it is thought that non-sentient beings become one with the self and nature, that is the same as being non-different from things. For what reason is it not established that both sentient and non-mind exist, that does not exist. If you think this way, if people do not want to be the only reason for similarity for all men, that is true. However, if it is thought that it is desire, then it is said, "When difference." "Also" is to refute other faults. When the false difference, then it becomes oneness. In this way, if it becomes a different difference, then there will be similarities in a slightly similar way. The difference is not different, because it is that itself, so there is no similarity. Now, in order to refute the self examined by logicians, etc., who think that there is no mind, so it is said, "No mind also." The so-called "I" is a mindless thing, that is, the self with no mind. If it has a mind, that is, has a mind
