It is so. Isn't it obvious that form and so on have the ability to function? How can one deny that? Thinking about this, it is said, "Form, etc." It means that no matter how obvious form and so on are, it is only a worldly saying. It is not to be understood by the measure of the ultimate truth, but is grasped by the measure of the conventional, so it is the conventional truth. As it is said: Whatever has the senses as its object, if that is the ultimate, what is the use of the knowledge of the ultimate, if it is known by children? It is said so. Even if it is obvious, what is a false example? It is said, "That is impure." For example, regarding the impure things such as the body of a woman, the thought of purity arises due to attachment, and that itself is false. Because that is not, but it is considered to be. Likewise, form and so on are also like that. If it is not a thing established by measure, then how did the Bhagavan teach the aggregates and so on? It is said, "World." In order for the worldly people who are attached to the appearance of things to understand emptiness, the aggregates and so on were established. Because if emptiness was spoken of from the beginning, they would be afraid. As it is said: The Victorious One said "I" and "mine," because it was necessary. The aggregates, elements, and sources are also said in the same way because it is necessary. It appears so. Because it is said to be momentary, things exist, thinking about this, it is said, "Suchness." Because things do not exist in the ultimate truth, momentariness does not exist either. Then how should it be said now? It is said, "It is conventional." It is said, "Other statements will become contradictory," meaning that it becomes contradictory because it is not momentary, so it contradicts common knowledge. The answer is that yogis, that is, those who have realized the selflessness of persons, because the conventional momentariness appears to them, there is no fault. There is no fault of contradicting common knowledge. Because in the ultimate truth, those do not exist, and the mind is said to be conventional. It is said so.

How is it thought that only yogis can see? It is said, "To the world." "Other" means that if yogis do not see the reality, then the Blessed One said that the female body is impure, but worldly people arrogantly think it is pure, so they will be harmed. If everything is like an illusion, then at that time the Victorious One is also like an illusion, so how can merit arise from making offerings to him? It is said, "Like an illusion," because the Victorious One who is like an illusion is without substance. What merit will arise from him? It should be understood in this way. There is no merit or demerit in benefiting or harming an illusory person. What does that mean? The answer is, "It arises as it arises from the truth." It is said, just as it arises from the ultimately true Blessed One. "How is merit?" It should also be added to the second sentence. It is also said that just as merit arises ultimately truly from the Victorious One who exists ultimately truly, so also illusory merit will arise from the Victorious One who is like an illusion. Therefore, there is no difference between us. "This arises from encountering this condition" is the same for both. "If" is said by the debater. "Why" is for what reason. "After death" means after death. "Birth" is arising, and because of birth and arising, it is thought to be ultimately real. The answer is, "As long as," just as illusion arises as long as the conditions of mantras and medicines are gathered. Similarly, as long as the conditions of ignorance and so on are gathered, sentient beings will also arise, and those who have died will be reborn. Furthermore, in order to show that merely existing for a long time does not become truly existent, it is said, "Long," long is the continuous transmission from beginningless time, one moment after another. Just that is not sacred, others are not long-lasting.

If one thinks that killing sentient beings is not a sin because the illusory person and the nature are not different. The word "illusion" is mentioned, although the illusory person and the other person are the same in that they have no substance, there is no sin because the illusory person does not have the mind of the illusory person. If you add the intention to kill, it will be a sin, but it will not be killing. If you think, how can you kill other people? The word "illusion" is mentioned, the mind itself is an illusion. Having is having it. Because the basis of merit, etc., where benefit and harm may exist, is the mind. When one truly sees the illusion itself, there is no sin of killing, etc. at that time, now the mind cannot do that, but it is only believing according to the words. The other party wants to argue that the mind is not an illusion, because mantras, etc. do not have the ability to generate the mind, so the mind cannot have the nature of illusion. The answer is, the word "various" is mentioned, and the illusion that truly arises from various causes and conditions is also various. The word "also" is connected in order. In this way, although the sound of illusion is the same, the cause is different. Therefore, from the cause of mantras, etc., it is other, and from the cause of ignorance, etc., the mind is illusion. To clearly show this, the words "one condition" are mentioned, and the cause that can produce results in some places cannot be done in all places. In this way, some illusions are produced by mantras, and some illusions are produced by ignorance from beginningless time. These are just words in name only. Ultimately, all dharmas are naturally nirvana. The other party wants to say other faults again, and says "if ultimately", etc. Because it is peaceful from the beginning. Ultimately, sentient beings are originally nirvana, so samsara is only spoken of in the mundane. If this is the view, then the Buddha will also have birth in samsara, etc.
